Very friendly and professional service. No one likes going to the dentist, but having been 3 times now, firstly for a much needed check-up, then a hygienist appointment and finally a new filling, I can say this place is top notch! Ghaz Mr Hussain has been excellent, he explained everything very clearly, worked very quickly and I now have a wonderfully filled tooth. The hygienist Kiranjot was very friendly, thorough and left my mouth feeling clean, gave me advice and showed me techniques to keep it maintained. I highly recommend St Johns!!

When I initially started my treatment with Rob I had 3 big problems which made me feel miserable with my teeth. The 3 areas I needed urgent treatment for was #1. My front crowned tooth had suffered an infection and had moved the tooth forward. Rob x-rayed it and basically the infection had caused tissue damage which limited positive outcomes. After careful consideration I opted for an implant as it felt like the safer option for me. The process was pain free which amazed me and Rob took it very carefully to ensure a great outcome. My implant has been in for almost 12 months now and I'm pleased to say all is well and healthy, thank you Rob. #2. One of my back teeth was suffering with gum desease and bone loss, I didn't know it was as bad as it was and when Rob highlighted it to me I was shocked as there was no pain at all. Rob done a bone graft around 18 mths ago and today I was told all looks well, the bone is stronger and the gum is pink and heathly, fingers crossed it stays that way, there is also the possibility that the bone will continue to grow. #3. Gum desease resulting in reseading gums. I'd been told this by other dentists but I wasn't told how to really deal with it. The hygienist in St. John's played a big part in helping me here, she showed me how to brush my teeth correctly, recommended the correct toothbrush and gave me all over sound oral hygiene advice. The last two visits I've had have had positive outcomes 'no gum desease' and I'm now on 6 months regular check ups. So to sum it up after probably 18 months in total I am hugely relieved that I'm not going to loose my teeth anytime soon, my front tooth is now sitting straight and my gum desease is now a thing  of the past after goodness knows how long. I would highly recommend Rob and the team they all played their part in saving my smile and I really can't thank them enough. 5 stars to all the team.

Attended my second visit today to see Ghaz Hussain for fitting of my inlay and a cosmetic white filling from start to finish the whole process was excellent. He puts you at ease and delivers pain free amazing cosmetic work. When I was shown  the results in the mirror at the end I was blown away the results were fantastic you could not tell that an inlay was there it just looked life a perfect tooth. Looking forward to my next appointment to get further cosmetic work completed. Highly recommend thank you Ghaz and the whole team

I saw Mr Hussain and I don't say this lightly but he was just an awful dentist- and the upsetting thing is the reason I came to St John's was because I've had bad experience with dentists in the past but actually Mr Hussain hands down was the worst I've seen. I wasn't too confident about my teeth which was why I visited St johns in the first place but Mr Hussain made me feel even worse, he kept saying my teeth looked odd and almost appeared disgusted- I just wanted the ground to swallow me up. I came into to try and fix a gap in my tooth, rather than focusing on what he could for me he focused on what he couldn't, like we can't put an implant in because it's too small and it's just odd. And then I had to ask him well what can we do? To which he replied well what do you think, shall we put half an implant in very sarcastically. I honestly felt like crying after that appointment. In the end he did give me good solutions but i had to push for them and i felt like a burden- no patient should ever feel like that. I wish I saw Rob instead, whom my friend recommended but he wasn't available on the day I was able to book so I went with Mr Hussain- worst mistake. Also! One thing that really annoyed me was I needed x rays, which would of really helped me out he tried to put the mouthpiece in well I say tried it was so half hearted and I said to him my mouth is quite small and he was like yep let's leave it- try again! Try a difference size!! Don't just say yeah let's forget it- I didn't question it he don't seem like the sort of guy you argue without feeling intimidated. If he don't like his job just leave don't take your obvious discontent out on patients. My first venture into private! Never again!! But can I say on a positive note every other member of staff was so lovely and attentive especially the receptionists! I'm coming back to see a hygienist  but will be looking to get my cosmetic dental work elsewhere. I honestly don't usually leave reviews but considering I paid for this service and it was the worst dental service I've ever received I just have to say something

Excellent service from start to finish. I was greeted in a friendly manner. Everything was explained to me. I am a nervous patient but they put me at ease throughout the procedure.

Made this my routine dental practice. Staff are very friendly and pleasant and always have the time to sit down and talk to you as well as provide a great service.  Thank you particularly to Jo, Gurjit, Rob, Ghaz, Aleema and Kirsty for providing a great experience for me.  I can not wait to begin my aesthetic dental treatment with Ghaz very soon!

The very best staff, from receptionists, to hygienists, to dentists, everyone is amazing. Hands down, best dentist practice I've ever chosen!

I came here with my husband as we were in desperate need to see a dentist. I was recommended this dentist by my family who live in Birmingham. We were greeted Gurjit and her team everyone was so polite and welcoming. Most of our treatment was completed by Rob who is absolutely amazing and we knew we were is safe hands. We also had Aleema the therapist who was so kind, professional and so thorough with her work and gave us so much advice. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment you enter the reception - the very professional manner in which you treated is personal to you and make one feel at ease. Both the dental surgery and scrape & polish treatments are always first class and of the highest quality - the end to end service has a Swiss watch feel to it.
