Nice hometown corner market. Family-owned, GREAT, PERSONAL customer service. Good inventory, best fresh meats at lowest prices anywhere. Very nice deli, Friday is fried fish day. They fry it, you pick the piece you want and pay by the pound, and they put it on a very nice hard roll. It has been a Friday tradition in Owego for generations. Always something interesting on the chalkboard, it changes daily. I photograph it everytime I go in and post it on my Facebook page. Really, nice old-fashioned grocery store.

Very friendly Staff! Meats are always fresh and cheap! Subs are delicious! I would recommend Johns fine foods to everyone!

Great little market to grab the necessaties or a quality piece of meat. They do a pretty damn good fish fry as well!

I always love going to John's! He has the best meats and everyone is so friendly. A wonderful small town market with that hometown feel. His prices are many times lower than the big chains and you know his meats are fresh. Great place to go!!

Been coming to johns since moving to Owego 6 years ago. Have been here for the change of owners, loved the previous owner and now the new owners have not dissapointed. If theres anything special you are looking for, he does his best to order it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and carries the old mom and pop feeling to it. Will continue to go to John's as long as I live here.

I love this store. Very personal, great small town service. Everyone is such a pleasure to talk to.

I order 2 lb frying chicken and fish sub.  The food was good , but I really don’t like the person who deal with me !!! He start repeating 2 lb with some look in his eyes !! And I was surprised what a great customer service this !! It’s look like i get it for free not buy it !! . I know one thing for sure I will not back there again . One star for food zero for customer service.

Love their Friday fish fry and Roma Bakery bread and very friendly staff and John and Bev are the best !
