My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Grace for over 12 years. He is kind, compassionate and very skilled at what he does. You will not find a more knowledgeable psychiatrist anywhere.
I don't know why so many 1 stars are given here. Dr. Grace is wonderful, and he has been the only Dr I've seen who has actually been able to help me, and I've seen many! I suffered greatly for 15 years and he has been a Godsend to me. I highly recommend Dr Grace.
I went to Dr grace for an anxiety disorder. After spending thousands of dollars for him to "Manage" my medicine, I was getting no better. I finally left his office and went to a regular doctor who put me on the right medicine combination and my anxiety finally went away. Funny how that works. I would look for a better Dr. Than Dr. Grace.
I want to say to anyone who complains about Dr Grace it must be yourself. I have gone to him for 12 years. I first me him when I didn't want to live after a heart breaking divorce. He literally saved my life. His staff is great and he is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever known and have had the privilege of knowing. Yes he has an answering service leave a message. Someone will contact you. He has seen me at my worst and at my best but has never judged me either way. He has been there when I have needed a change in meds. I can't imagine not having him as a doctor. He does telemedicine mostly which to me is the best. He protects his staff and myself from catching Covid. So I just want him and his staff to know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart . For being the best.
Was a bit leery after reading the reviews of the staff but I have to say my experience was completely positive. I needed some assistance and guidance on medications and that is why I made the apt. The front desk person was friendly and cordial. The nurse I spoke with Kristen was also very good and very friendly. The Dr himself was very laid back, mellow, helpful and completely honest. One of the best medical experiences I have ever had.
The first time I saw dr Grace was Christmas Eve 2016. I called and I got answering service. I was so distraught. Dr Grace called back and came in and opened office to see me. I’ve been with him ever since. I was misdiagnosed for at least 4 years as bipolar. Dr Grace diagnosed me correctly changed my meds and I’ve been doing much better. I miss Jonathan who I have been seeing for the last few years. I see dr Grace every visit now. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
Ok I'm giving 5 stars on my first appointment, but I've been dealing with psychotrists for over 20 years and this office maybe different but so far I like it. I loved the handouts and how I felt better after leaving because I've put in a ton of work prior to my visit as I just moved from Michigan. He was concerned and listed to all my concerns and asked me about ALL the medications I've tried. I like that since I have a good medication regamin and he was willing to continue that. My nurse Wendy was exceptionally nice and understanding. You do have to remember they are busy and that they deal with very difficult personality types. This is a hard field to work with and there are always times things get behind. If you were in crisis you'd want that attention as well and not to be told times up. I do find some of the office policies strange but after all he spent the time and money on his education and if problems arise he may need to stop seeing a patient if the rules of the office aren't followed. To me that is for his, his staff and all the patients coming ins safety. They see psychotic people and rules need to be followed as the Doctor sees fit. I would highly recommend him if things continue like today.
I’ve been an established patient for about 12 years. I have nothing but good experience with Dr. Grace and his office staff. I highly recommend Dr. Grace.
I have a history of depression since 1974. I have been prescribed proscriptions for depression for many years now. I decided to use a private Doctor instead of a VA Doctor because VA does not proscribe Medical Marijuana for my PTSD depression. I am a disabled Vet because of this. It is well documented that marijuana is very effective in treating this disease. Dr. Grace has just started prescribing medical marijuana for his patients. The Doctor could not give me an answer if he would prescribe medical marijuana in my case before making the trip from Orlando to Crystal River to see him for my medication to treat my long diagnosed illness with depression. It appears his time is more important to him than my time.
If you are looking for someone to hand you a loaded gun and say "good luck, we are here for you, but not really" Then this is the place. On the bright side, I have gotten to know their answering service pretty well. So far that is a total of one thing this office does right. Are you only available from the hours of working to maybe you took lunch? Then according to their website, they are open.... like the boarders of North Korea. Amazing Grace, that's a lie, that I was forced to believe...everyone sing it with me! I would leave my number, but from everything I have experienced from this office, they won't call me back anyway....
