Johnny Rockets Miami Beach

It was okay, but just not there yet. This is not really a 50's place, they played modern music and it felt more like the rest of restaurants on Ocean Drive rather than an authentic 50's experience they market themselves for. Burger was mediocre at best and well overpriced. Shakes are decent but for $8 I'd imagine much more. Waitresses were pretty at least, everything else needs improvement. The jukebox didn't even work and there were napkins from old customers stuck behind. Overall rather a disappointment for an Ocean Drive restaurant.

I wish that I could rate this place based on the quality of the food but we never got served, so it would be pointless to make up a review based on the food. What I can tell was the It was not busy so we chose to sit inside rather than at the sidewalk tables. There were only three tables seated and with food. I asked one of the servers "Do you seat us or do we seat ourselves" He said sit anywhere that you would like. My companion and I sat down at a booth. No one came to offer menus, offer water, or to take our order. We just sat and sat. I am not accustomed to sitting and completely being ignored. We used the free wifi to locate another place to get a burger. After 15 minutes of watching the waiters and bus staff walk back and forth and ignore us we left.

I have ordered from Johnny Rockets many times due to the fact they are right next door so its convenient. Today I had the most unpleasant treatment form Christina the assistant manager... I called like I always do on Saturdays to place and she asked me for a credit card. I explained we always pay cash and reminded her who we are your neighbors at Sobe Spa. She still refused and said she would not charge my credit card I smell Fraud. I explained that I never provided a credit card the last maybe 20 times. I added I'm just placing an order and I am right next door. You, would think she has a degree but she obviously lacked common courtesy and sense. We WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN.. CHRISTINA IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE... AND FYI NO ONE GIVES STRANGERS A CREDIT CARD NUMBER , DUE TO FRAUD. I manage the spa and would never treat anyone the way I was just treated... YOU LOST A CLIENT AND A GREAT REFERRAL.

I came here for lunch with my family which is on vacation and was told the credit card systems was down and I needed to withdraw money from the ATM. I got the money from the ATM and paid for my food. I checked my bank statement and noticed I was charged for the meal on my card after I already paid cash. I called and luckily I was still in Miami and could go down there. The reason I rate this 4 star is because the manager was extremely nice and corrected the problem in every way possible. He also gave me and my family lunch and milk shakes. I will return to this location because of the manager and the way he handled things. Great customer service.

Visiting this resturant for the first time was a great experience. This place gets packed. The hot dogs was amazing. Oh my, the delicious shakes.....please have!!! First place I ever visited with fries that is not oily.

Johnny Rockets is a great burger joint with classic decor, style, and presentation - it is a great burger joint. The reason why I rated it lower was while it is in prime location it is hard to enjoy the atmosphere in this hustle and bustle tourist traffic area, if your trying to park this is a rough place your probably going to want to park a few streets down. Why you would go to Johnny Rockets with soo many great dining options is up to you.

We tried to order some drinks. The chef or something said that you must go and sit down and then order if you want something. We did that and waited 30 minutes WITHOUT service. No one didn't come to check us out. So we left without getting anything.

The price of the food did not match its quality..I went out with five friends and NOBODYS food was fresh! It wasn't a clean comforting place to eat and on top of that all five us had our checks on one bill and we had to sort it out ourselves..terrible.

First time I ate there it was great. Second time I only had a shake and it sucked and that was it for me but I decided to give it a 2nd chance and I'm sorry. I got a shake again same problem super sweet. And the kitchen area was dirty for 4am.

Had bacon cheese fries and bacon cheese burger! Pretty tasty. Also the 45oz. Firecracker slushy was awesome! Waiter Joey was great as well! Great place!
