The just about right portion size, great taste, incredibly friendly service, decent price. I saw people are salty about the dishes size, but this is what healthy food amount looks like. And yes, it's very tasty. You'd never expect that food quality in the hotel's restaurant.
First of all, the food we ordered took over an hour to arrive, and when it did arrive finally the order was all messed up. The Hot dogs were burnt and the Milkshakes they are known for is just as good as other Fast Food places. If you are at the great escape, please save your money and skip this place.
This used to be my favorite restaurant and now it's gone down the toilet. Burgers used to be as big as Five Guys now they are smaller than McDonald's Value Burgers. My wife, father, mother in law and I all got burgers and I think they are the same size as McDonald's cheap $1.50 burger. My favorite, Spicy Houston used to be a quarter pounder sized patty. Now it doesn't even go to both sides of the bun. I had to look to see if anything was in there because I took a bite and only got bread. Just to see a pickle sized burger in there... Very sad. This restaurant is a shell of it once was. Even the jukebox was broken... The bathrooms where very very dirty. Biggest disappointment ever. I hope they either get a remodel, get new management or close down. This is very sad for me I used to love it here... But it's not a johnny Rockets anymore it turned into somthing else . edit: thanks for the auto response Johnny Rockets really makes me feel appreciated... And it was Not Alittle... It was Alot... VERY DISSATISFIED! STOP TRYING TO DOWN PLAY MY REVIEW! Kid-friendliness: They have kid meals too... But sadly my adult meal I used to like now looks kids sized. Parking: Not many spots available even with hardly any customers in side when we where there.
We waited 45+ minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived it was a disaster. One of us ordered a Rocket dog, the hot dog came out burnt and when it was replaced it was still disgusting and burnt on one side. First hot dog seen below. We also ordered salads with side of honey mustard, the honey mustard tasted off and disgusting, really sour. On a positive note our server was very sweet and apologetic.
If I could give more stars I would! The place was spotlessly clean. Our server Eric was top notch- friendly, courteous, and professional. By far THE BEST breakfast I’ve had outside my own kitchen. It was very obvious that the cook not only knows his business but is loving what he does. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and return to it.
Absolutely lovely! The vibe/atmosphere is stellar, the workers are all kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. It's simple! Prices are absolutely reasonable, and I like that serving sizes aren't ridiculous. I can go, eat until I'm full, and leave without lugging around a ton of leftovers I'll never eat. I absolutely recommend it.
Great food at a great price! Friendly and speedy service! High chairs and booster seats available, as well as a variety of options on the kids menu. Love the 50s diner atmosphere! Gluten Free buns also available.
You get told 20-25 minutes for pick up. Arrive and then get told “they’re a little behind I would say another 5-10 minutes.” I ordered at 7pm. The place had maybe 3 tables full if that, needless to say, it was another 40 minute wait while I had my 4 month old & 18 month old that I didn’t plan on coming down there to wait 40 minutes on top of the 20 minute wait I was told. Go to eat my food 5 minutes after receiving and the food is COLD. Wait an hour but get cold food??!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Never again will I waste my money especially at this location. They didn’t bother to give me my receipt or anything. First and last time I’ll be visiting and paying for food at Johnny Rockets. Good luck to the rest of the people. I see they don’t have that many good reviews and now I see why, I should’ve done my research before I placed an order.
Came for lunch with my sister. Was seated right away. Not busy. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Watching the wait staff just stand there. Got a smokehouse burger. It was ok. Nothing special. I've gotten better at five guys. Fries were not done or crispy. Definitely not worth what we paid.
Came here yesterday when we visited the water park. Our server was excellent but the food was subpar. By the time I got my grilled cheese, the cheese was hardening and cold. The tater tots with cheese we're not bad going down but, I could tell they were incredibly greasy. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough when cooked? Hours later I got incredibly sick and Johnny Rockets was the only thing I had eaten that day. Lastly, the bathrooms needed to be cleaned. I feel bad for the servers because I'm sure people reflect their tip money on their whole experience. The servers were very attentive and excellent and it's the only reason I even gave two stars.
