I had an amazing experience at Carey and am grateful I chose their program. The professors were excellent, I found the curriculum interesting and challenging, and I was able to work with exceptionally talented students. I work in healthcare and a Hopkins MBA was a no-brained for me Class of 2020 alum
one of worst school to go into there are many reasons told by students doing which to it . 1- baised with international students , not ranked school 2- grading system is so bad they just want to give you depression and stress , they dont teach then grade you bad esp few professor 3- no jobs after mba 4-flex prog is worst and ask people doing how bad is it they want to leave if given chance 5- so expensive not worth at all so please if you are listening , dont make it so bad people dont even come to it worst professor
Very good business school! The faculty is great and highly motivated the content which is taught is extraordinarily - I took both classes in their "normal" program and in their executive education program and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by their executive education because it was just not informative and fast enough - but the courses in their program are really worthy. Thanks to the great Professors!
School faculty and leadership team does NOT assist student in their studies. Takes a whole week for response from advisor. Dean won’t even talk to students
I graduated from Carey Business school with a MBA in 2010 before the school's relocation to Inner Harbor, Dr. Ferrari's appointment as dean, and school's AACSB accreditation. The program has improved light years since I was a student back in 2007. Back then, majority of the faculty were part-time practitioners, and tuition was half of what it is today. Today, most faculty have Ph.Ds from top schools. Give it another 20 years and the MBA program could rank in the top 50. One of the reviewers noted that there are many international Chinese students. The program's emphasis is on Global MBA and China's global influence is growing very fast so I think networking with future leaders of China can be an opportunity. When I visited Shanghai in 2015, I attended several Johns Hopkins alumni events and met a few Carey alumni. Tuition is very high. However, given the school's reputation and potential to become a top MBA program, I think getting a degree from Carey Business school is a good investment.
When I am at Carey Business School I only hear Mandarin....which BTW there is nothing wrong with it Sounds like a Seinfeld joke, right?. My only concern is that some unranked schools sometimes become channels for providing American visa to wealthy overseas business families. Should the government investigate if such schools are really "schools" or visa channels?
The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School will offer you a life changing experience. As a current student, I am truly enjoying every moment.
Before you even graduated they would start sending you emails about “donations”. Now that I’m graduated they would call me to ask for donations about 1 month after graduation? while I’m still looking for a job. Duh.
Great location. I used to attend here before they were at the harbor. This has a great view
The mind is a terrible thing to waste so why not choose Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
