Johns Hopkins Uniformed Services Family Health Plan (USFHP) is a managed care program developed by the Department of Defense (DoD). We are a TRICARE Prime provider, offering comprehensive health care benefits to family members and survivors of active-duty and retirees of the seven uniformed services.
We serve eligible military beneficiaries in Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, and parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Northern Virginia. Our primary care groups in Maryland include Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) with more than 30 health care locations.
All JHCP medical practices provide the full range of primary care services, including internal medicine and/or family practice. Some of the larger centers offer Ob/Gyn, pediatrics, ophthalmology and optometry services plus on-site Rite Aid pharmacies, labs, and radiology services. All of our locations are staffed by Johns Hopkins credentialed or employed providers.
