Our 26 civilian employees serve the public in records, administrative, and support functions, as well. We have a dedicated, well-trained, and motivated workforce, and we are committed to partnering with the community to keep our city a safe and secure place to enjoy life.
In the pursuit of excellence, the Johnson City Police Department has maintained its accredited status through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies since 1993, meeting exacting standards established by this professional organization. Additionally, we received accredited status through the Tennessee Law Enforcement Accreditation Program in 2011.
