In general, it is Johnson County Sheriff's Office intent to not allow comments to be posted on its social media pages. However, in the instances where comments are allowed, then the county will use the following guidelines when deciding to edit/remove a post and/or users:

Inaccuracy
When the comment/post is identified by staff as a SPAM message
Sexual content or links to sexual content
Solicitations of commerce
Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems; or
Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has the right to reproduce any pictures or videos posted to this site in any of its publications or websites or any other media outlets.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has the right to quote any comments or suggestions left by users.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office does take requests from people wanting events, videos, or pictures posted to any of their social networking sites. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or deny any such requests.
