The staff always treat you so kindly and with a smile on their face. They will go above and beyond to get you what you need. I had my son there and all the girls in the room were very supportive and encouraging. They also gifted my son a Pooh bear. Love it! Such a nice and clean hospital, filled with friendly people.
I've been to the ER a couple times recently and I have to say. I've received some of the best treatment I have in a while. The nursing staff were thorough, pleasant and advocated well. Dr Frey was absolutely amazing, he listened, did what was needed and was cute as a button. The volunteers go above and beyond. 5 stars JMH
I meant to share a review months ago when I went in for an outpatient procedure. The second I walked in the door everyone was friendly and helpful and explained everything that would be happening before, during, and after my procedure. They asked questions and comforted me when they could tell I was nervous about my procedure. The best experience I've ever had. Wonderful staff!
I took my son in barely responsive and there was no one at check in. Someone did quickly come and the doctors and nurses were very good and fast. One nurse however was a bit rude. Nothing major. You can only have two people in a room so when my husband came I went outside so my dad and husband could both have a few minutes to check on him. After about five or ten minutes my dad came out so I could go back in and my husband and I could stay with him the rest of the time. Again there was only one check in lady and she was busy but she did say she would let me in as soon as she could. A nurse named Jami came out and so I asked if I could go back in to see my son. She very rudely looked me up and down and said, "No. You can have a seat on the couch and wait your turn and then just walked off. After I was back in the room I seen her later and asked what her name was. She both, very happily and most hatefully said, "Jami". And smerked at me and went off.
Great staff in the ER. They care about their patients and will go the distance to find out any information possible. My Dr was amazing on the work side of things as well as very patient and respectful. I’ll be staying away from Columbus Regional and making my trip here for now on.
The hospital looks clean. The urgency is bad. Place took forever to help my daughter get back and situated/ good thing she was not in serious pain. I noticed and have pictures of what appears to be blood on a table. The nurses 3-4 all came in different times and said they would give her some tylenal/ibprofen.... it was like none of them communicated. I am glad I paid attention to that to make sure she didn't take more than she was suppose to.
If I could give a 0 I would. The rudest nurses I’ve ever experienced. And they are terribly slow while all the nurses are sitting around on their phones and talking. Waited over an hour just for discharge papers for my toddler. Why? What is the point?
Stuck me twice and told me I was gonna get an IV fluids never happened but now I’ve got bruises from where they stuck the needle in didn’t prescribe anything strong enough to help with kidney stones and ended up goin to another ER for a higher prescription that would ACTUALLY help with the pain.
Wife's o2 was read at home 79. She going from simi alert to looking like a dead person. We live 2 block from hospital so I figured drive her to ER be faster than 911. Desk lady checked us in made her aware of wife's symptoms and history of heart failure and chronic penimona from all the fluid that builds up from the heart failure. Desk lady was like there is quite a few ahead of y'all and I asked can we get a ekg BP and a o2 reading. Simple triage stuff. She said we don't do that here. Well second's can be life or death and these simple test should be done ASAP with my wife's symptoms. So if you have anything but a little cold or bump go elsewhere.
My dad was experiencing pain In his chest so we took him to the emergency room and they did there tests on him and told me and him both it was "for sure definitely not " a heart attack but they were still goingto keep him for a night because they thought he had pneumonia, when I get home they tell me it was a heart attack and there sending him to community north, I give one start because how are they going to tell me it was for sure definitely not a heart attack when it was.
