When I first started going here in 2020, I had Dr. Cieza. He was terrible. Most of the nurses are good, but there was one in particular who unapologetically told me I'd end up with both of my legs amputated. Among other things, I was allowed to run out of prednisone without a refill, which is a medication you cannot stop taking suddenly. Anyway, fast forward to December 2021... I had requested a new doctor and they gave me Dr. Lutz. He has been a lifesaver. He understands my condition, which is rare, and he is just awesome. The nurses Terry I think is her name and Karen are great as well.
Very pleased with our experience at JoCo Wound Care. My mom had to be seen a handful of times and the CNA April, nurse David, and PA Bernard Campo were outstanding. Bernard was very thorough in explaining why my moms wound was slower to heal and provided solutions to help in the future. Would recommend this office!
Staff is pleasant enough. LONG wait. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in the waiting room. At 11 AM a patient went to the reception to ask about his wait. He was going to cancel and leave. He was told there was one person in front of him. He agreed to wait 30 more minutes. After about 20 minutes, he was called. NO one called before him. Obviously he got bumped because he was gonna cancel. At about 11:40 AM, the started calling patients. Bam bam bam. Called 5 patients within about 10 -15 minutes, clearing the waiting room . They can get the patients out when its lunch time.
The staff is great the wait time is horrible they set an appointment for 9 am and you don't get seen for at least an hour! We have waited an hour and a half before . The Dr spends a whole 5 minutes with us but I'm sure others have longer appointments due to their extent of the would
I had an open wound on the upper part of my foot. I began going for help in January of 2020... by April of 2020, my wound was not healed, was worse, my foot was swollen, opened in other areas due to the swelling and all together worse than when I first went there. Not only that... they charged Medicare and my insurance $1081. for each visit at which time I waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the so called" Doctor" to arrive only to be with me 5 minutes and tell me to continue putting on the pads they ordered for me from someone else that also charged my medical and insurance! I can't even find the "doctors" name listed as being associated with JCMH!!! Save yourself time, pain, and money and do not go here. I have begun going to Wake Med and pray that they will be able to care for me. Louise Lupo
Unfortunately this is the only wound clinic in Johnston County. My mom has to wait 2-3 hours for a 5min visit with the Dr. The front desk staff is very rude, poor customer sevice
