Who are we?
Eddie Martinez, owner and primary instructor at Jompikad Muay Thai gym, is an active professional Muay Thai fighter. With over 40 Muay Thai fights, over 28 years martial arts experience and 8 Championship belts, Eddie has infinite knowledge and expertise to pass on to his students. Eddie's clientele has included everyone from business professionals, aspiring fighters, stay-at-home moms and children to even law enforcement - Eddie has spent 5 years training members of the FBI and state troopers in downtown Manhattan.
Well-known on Muay Thai fight cards, Eddie has fought in Manhattan, Queens, Atlantic City, Atlanta, Thailand, South America and March 27, 2012 - Dubai. His love for the sport and experience teaching, over 10 years, make training with him a fun and safe experience. Whatever your fitness goals may be and whatever knowledge of Muay Thai you may have, Eddie has you covered.
Classes will teach the sport of Muay Thai from the basic concepts to the most advanced techniques. You will learn to use punches, kicks, knees and elbows with pads and on the bag. Classes will also focus on total body conditioning to increase stamina, muscle tone, flexibility and safe training practices. All classes are taught with regard to particular age (kid-adult) and skill levels (beginner-advanced). .
