It can be busy and parking lot full- on weekends and nicer days- but otherwise you can find a parking spot. People come here also for fishing and crabbing. It has a small fishing ramp, a small beach area and you can launch Kayak, if has great view of the water and sunset.
Little bit busy with many people here fishing and crabbing . Small beach area. You can launch Kayak. Great view of Seven river. Annapolis. We came at weekend. So parking lot was full.
It's my favorite place. So peaceful. The best sunsets. Small but well maintained. The rangers are always so nice too. They are prompt when closing.
I didn't realize what a nice little spot it is. Fishing & a restaurant on 1 side. A beach to swim at on the other side. Beautiful
Nice little park underneath the western end of the Naval Academy Bridge. There is a fishing pier, some paved trails, and restrooms. Nice views of the Naval Academy across the Severn River.
Love this park, One of my favorite spots for photography, always a great time, nice view and clean beach area. The park rangers are always friendly.
If you find the lure I lost on the rocky bottom please send it to me in NY thanks. Beautiful park. Nice staff.
Only in comparison with other local parks for accessibility as I am disabled. The fishing pier is nice but nothing fancy. It's completely concrete. The park area is beautiful with educational stations and sculptures to view. I have never been when the visitor center is open but it looks nice. Accessibility can be had to all areas for all including disabled, but there are some challenges in doing so. Recommend you take a helper if you are.
During the weekdays, the park is a nice place to kick back and enjoy the solitude of the Severn River. You can even throw a line in the water in many cases, catch a fish or two. A good place to sit back and get your thoughts together. I've enjoyed the park since my days serving reserve duty in the late 60s.
I’d give it a 5 but the restrooms were pretty bad. Everything else is pretty well maintained. Quite a few ppl were fishing, walking dogs and even a few kids running around. Of course there were people using nets, but that’s what happens when there isn’t oversight. The beach is clean and there wasn’t much trash on the rocks. There were lots of jellyfish in the water and there’s a sign that says no swimming. I’m sure thats just in general but seeing so many jellyfish made me def not want to swim.
