Welcome to the Jonathan Edwards Library FaceBook page. As BCC's library, we are open to students, faculty, staff, and all members of the general public.
The Library at Berkshire Community College was established when the College opened in 1960. The library moved with the College to its present location in 1972. Named after colonial American theologian, author and local minister, Jonathan Edwards, the Library provides a full array of resources in support of the College's curriculum. These resources include books, magazines, journals, newspapers, CD's, and DVD's, computers for public use, copy machines, and of course, assistance and instruction in the research process. Our comfortable space offers quiet study carrels, as well as areas conducive for group work. Library orientations and one-on-one instruction are also available.
The Library maintains a website at http://www.berkshirecc.edu/about-bcc/library/, which offers College students, faculty and staff who have BCC library cards the opportunity to access periodical articles at any time, even when the library is closed. As a member of the CW/Mars consortium, patrons may browse the PAC, our online public access catalog which provides a record of each item in our collection. Patrons may also order books and non-print items from other libraries throughout the State, and can do so at any time from their home internet connection.
