Jonny has extensive experience in virtually all areas of U.S. immigration and nationality law. Jonny represents individuals and families before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Utah Federal District Court and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
A staunch believer in equal opportunity and equal treatment, Jonny also aggressively pursues claims involving unpaid wages and overtime for workers. Because of his immigration law experience, he is uniquely positioned to advise undocumented workers on their rights to be paid a fair wage.
Jonny received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah in 2003 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2005. He received the CALI Award of Excellence (Contracts) and received a Certificate of Achievement from the College of Law’s Pro Bono Initiative.
In 2010 he was recognized by the Utah State Bar as the Pro Bono Young Lawyer of the Year.
