Active, progressive and innovative. We welcome visiting brethren and visitors.
Freemasonry is the world’s oldest and largest fraternity. Its history and tradition date to antiquity. Its singular purpose is to make good men better. Joppa Lodge was organized on September 16, 1914 by members from Caddo Lodge #179 and Shreveport Lodge #115. It was chartered at the Grand Lodge Session on February 2, 1915. Orginally meeting at the Spring Street Masonic Hall - location of the current American Towers building in downtown Shreveport, Joppa moved to the Masonic Temple on Creswell Street upon completion of that building in 1922.
Faith. Hope. Charity.
