I needed to get fitted for a wedding group so I went in and had my measurements taken. I found out a few weeks later that those measurements were never sent to the store that was processing the group order so I had to go back in to get re-measured and call them with the mesurements myself. After talking with the groom, everyone in the wedding party had been having problems. I would not recommend this store for wedding groups. I had a much easier time using men's wearhouse for my wedding.
I sent my son with cash in hand to buy a suit. He told me both employees were rude. We went elsewhere and ended up buying four new suits for our family for a wedding. I would recommend attention to more effective customer service.
If I could give zero stars I would. I had to go into this establishment 5 times before my wedding because they kept messing up on the colors and sizes I had told them many times. When my fiance went to pick up his suit after getting fitted months before, NOTHING FIT. And he had to drive all the way from College station to San Antonio THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING to get a suit that fit. The worst part is that they didn’t offer any refund or anything. They are the worst.
I bought an expensive suit and i needed my jacket AND pants altered. I made a total of 4 trips to the location due to incorrect sizing. After I requested a manager... he was rude and didn't care for my needs because he already had my money. This is my first AND LAST time I EVER do business with Jos. A. Bank... Highly rude and customer service is not their strongest priority.
Stood around waiting for someone to help even though there were sales people in the back milling about. When I was finally helped they seemed in a hurry and not very helpful. After I had decided the two suits I wanted and tried them on I overheard my sales person and the tailor discussing customers that didn't want to buy shoes, shirts, ties, etc. with their suits. They said something along the lines of "If they are here just for a suit, we should just tell them to f***ing go somewhere else". I was shocked and asked if my purchasing of only a suit was a problem. She seemed a little embarrassed but just told me some some excuse about corporate forcing them to go to training if they made suit sales with out also selling accessories. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and I will definitely not go back unless I have to.
Went in to get fitted for my oldest brothers wedding. Got to the store around 7:07. Lady was working the register going slow on purpose the other gentleman was pushing a trash can after collecting the trash around the store asked if I need help I tell him what I need he tells me we close in 10 minutes and that would take about 30 and tell me to come back tomorrow.
Went in to get my brand new slacks altered right after they came in. Asked about it and was told they would not hem the un-hemmed waistband by a young man. When I asked why he said he wasn't allowed to. When I pressed him for more information he said it was the law and walked off. I turned to the older white haired gentleman mgr who has been there every-time I've gone in and asked him what the deal was. He said that there were no dry cleaning tags on the slacks and the state law says they cannot work on them without being dry cleaned. I flipped them over and said you mean these tags that they came in the mail with yesterday? With the tags now visible in plain sight. I said I don't appreciate the way he treated me, acting like I was doing something wrong, refusing to help me, and walking off when I was asking him to explain to me what he was talking about. Without ever even having looked at the slacks or asking me were they new, or worn. Without listening to me tell him I had just purchased them online. The older man wrenched his face at me in a look of incredulity, and said that's the way it is sir. If you don't like it, you can leave the store. WOW! Really? That's how a longtime return customer is treated? For what? asking a question. I showed the tags and still no help with having them hemmed??? I wasn't a jerk, I was polite. I've bought 7 suits, 4-5 sports coats and innumerable shirts and slacks here in the last two years since I moved to College Station. I won't be going back....Go read all the negative reviews on Yelp, then decide what you think of this Jos A Banks. Not one good review for this store anywhere!
Do not use Jos. A Bank. I never write a review but this store lost my tux the day of my wedding and did nothing to help me. They say they never received my tux and knew when my wedding was and I never got a call that something was wrong. I had to scramble around and buy a tux within hours of my wedding. I will never go back or recommend to anyone.
I will go ahead and express the same sentiments as other reviewers on Google. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Worst I’ve seen in a long time. We spent 30 minutes in the store without anyone acknowledging us. Not a hi, or an, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” No one offered to help my husband and son as they searched for their size in dress shirts. There were MAYBE 5 other shoppers in the store and at least 3 employees I could see. This isn’t the first time this has happened either. Take your business elsewhere.
Unwelcoming environment. I got my questions answered and left with what I needed but definitely felt sorry for interrupting the associate’s time. Received a vibe that clearly showed he was not enthused to be at work that day. Great suits and quality, but Jos Banks needs to focus some energy at improving the morale for employees that are working their sites.
