Ethan was fantastic! Highly knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and motivated. He made shopping for a suit a real breeze. I needed a fitted altered suit in less than 5 days and Ethan was able to have the alterations done in 3 days with time to spare. He is a real asset to the company and he would be a fantastic store manager. I live 40 mins south of this location but would not hesitate to return as a repeat customer. Ethan made the shopping experience very enjoyable and eased my stress level while shopping for a last minute suit! Well done Ethan!
Got fitted for my brothers wedding this afternoon and was greeted right away by two gentlemen. I believe their names were Ethan and Gannon...either way, thank you for making that nice and easy. Felt great about my purchase and beyond satisfied with their service. Great work!
Great sales associates here! We haven't had a bad experience yet. Getting all of our wedding party attire from here. Check out takes a long time and they do try to sell you more stuff accessories, etc as you're checking out, but they're respectful when you say no and not pushy. Go when there are sales happening otherwise it's ridiculously over priced. We've always gotten good deals!
I walked into the Bedford NH store 2/10/20 and was met with a look from the female store attendant that was like "Oh I hate these kind of customers", I asked about a suit or something for an interview and the first thing she said to me was "well our suits all start at over $800 dollars unless you do clearance" She proceeded to be annoyed with us, started looking for clearance stuff and she never measured me, she showed me one suit that didn't fit, wonder why and said sorry that's all that we have, if you need something tailored it won't be available. In the middle of helping us she left us waiting while she helped a customer who came in after us and just wanted a spare button. She spent more time speaking to them than she did with us. When she returned to us she just said sorry I couldn't help you, turned right away from us and sat down to scroll through her phone. She was totally rude, unprofessional, and the eye rolling and disgusted facial expressions were unreal. We couldn't leave fast enough. I was very disappointed, I had read such great reviews of this store on line and went there specifically because of the great service, if I could give a zero star rating I would. I ended up going to Men's Warehouse and ended up spending over $1000 on a whole wardrobe of clothing.
1. William McDonald, Store Manager should not be representing Jos A Banks or in any role intended to serve customers as he was extremely rude, disrespectful, and hostile during my first and only encounter with him as his customer. Upon my first entering the store, I noticed that 'Will' was pleasantly working with 2 other customers at the back of the store. In my noticing of Will being occupied, I decided to wait at the front of the store near the checkout as Will would still be able to clearly see me. After waiting about 7-10 minutes for Will to acknowledge my presence in his store near the checkout counter, I was finally greeted by Will with him saying, "What do you want?!". I was taken back by his disrespectful greeting, but I simply told him that I was there to pick up a suit that had arrived. He then said very rudely, "Nothing has arrived today!". He didn't bother to try to look up the suit first to see if it had arrived or anything. I then told him that I received a phone call from Jos A Banks telling me that both my suit and tie were available for pick up. He sighed as if he were annoyed with me, and then proceeded to walk to the back to look for the suit. He didn't find the suit in the back, initially, but went to a closet in the front of the store and found the suit there. He proceeded to ring up the suit and then became upset with me because the clearance suit was marked down further than he thought that it should have been stating that he was going to "Talk to his [employees] about this". When it was time for me to pay for the suit, Will avoided eye contact with me and said, "Card!" harshly. I gave him my pre-paid gift card to pay for the suit and then he told me that I would still have to pay for the alterations and that it would cost up to $150... As I have bought suits before, I knew that this was a fee that was to be incurred after purchasing the suit, however the $150 fee to cuff my pant legs and to bring in my suit's jacket seemed overly inflated to me. I then asked if Hiromi the store's tailor was available and he told me no, and that he would 'just' do it... Given his previous hostilities towards me for whatever reasons, I did not feel comfortable allowing him to touch me in anyway, so after trying on the suit, I told him that I would be going elsewhere for my tailoring needs which only incurred $40 in cost at an outside tailor. If this suit had not been a requirement for my very close friend's upcoming wedding, then I would have returned this suit and requested a full refund.
Good selection of nicer clothes. Helpful and not too pushy salesmen.
Thanks to Ethan explaining how to make the suit fit my barrel of a body for my wedding, I successfully looked the best I have ever looked in pictures ever.
