First visit years ago wasn't great, but our recent visit was really good. Rounded off a "meh" wine tasting with some really good food and service at Joseph's.
Staff was friendly and polite. Food was very good. I was happy with the atmosphere, the noise level, and the service. Good happy hour, and the drinks were good. Patrons were also very cool. Priced reasonably. I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict for brunch, and the salmon for Dinner. My wife had pasta, which was good as well.
I have been to Joseph’s many times before and have always been satisfied. Satisfied with the food taste and quality, staff and atmosphere. This time I went back with three other couples 8 people. After all the raving about Joseph’s the service was NOT what I usually got.although the staff is always very polite and pleasant there serving skills were lacking. The visits from the waiter and bus boy checking to see if everything was satisfactory or if there was anything that we may need and to even fill our water glasses was minimal. We had to constantly look for them and when we found them waiting for them to come back with out request felt like a life time. We spent the night at the hotel so we went back the next morning and it was even worse. So bad that I got up to get my own coffee. The worst part is that they automatically add the gratuity to the bill for groups of 8 or more. I would never have given that much of a tip if given the choice.
We had a very good meal here! Salads were tasty. I had the pork chop, 14 oz. It was tender and flavorful. The other entree was chicken parm with pasta. The chicken was a generous portion and the pasta was cooked perfectly! We would definitely go back! Our server was very nice too!!
I would not recommend for Brunch buffet. The staff was really nice but slow. Most importantly there were hardly any food choices and what was there was just ok. Even the omelette bar didn’t have that many ingredients compared to most omelette bars for brunch. The price was raised to $28 per person but all the signage in the restaurant still said $18. There was also bottomless mimosas for $15, which is way more than I’ve ever paid for bottomless and we were only able to order two. So needless to say our bill was a shock for what we got.
Tati was our server, and she was great: very personal, accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious with generous portions. We had fried calamari, a wedge salad, chicken pasta Florentine & shrimp and crab Risotto. I will definitely be back.
Went for Sunday brunch. Food was average. We were in a large group and still charged us full buffet price for a 16 month old. Bellinis were just syrup and champagne, fruit salad was from a can... sort of disappointing for a place that is supposed to be a destination. Due for construction, I hope they turn it around after the overhaul. Certainly wont be back until after then.
2019 Update -- Joseph's is now under new management and we've enjoyed our last 3 visits - it's so much better, we've gone 3 times in 2 months. Our servers have been very pleasant and the food has been delicious! I urge everyone to give them another shot! Joseph's is very nice and nearby so we have probably eaten here at least 10 times over the years. To be honest, the food has always been underwhelming. The filet is never cooked as ordered, mostly erring on the side of being over cooked. I now just ask for 'a little pink in the middle' to be safe. Tonight's filet was so bloody my plate was a sea of red. I took 2 bites and headed for the mashed potatoes. I did ask that they take it off the check and they complied. The Salmon dish was way too salty and a bit dry. The menu hasn't been updated in at least 5 years and is pretty lackluster, the dining room is usually pretty empty. All in all, the main problem to us, looks to be the chef. I can only say that the filet at Carrabbas has been perfectly cooked every time we eat there and because of that, we eat there often. We really had hoped they would survive their financial issues but based on our experience, the restaurant needs to update the menu and get a new chef. We've decided to take Joseph's out of our rotation.
I wouldn't recommend Joseph's restaurant. The food is OK but over priced, they only had two red wines to choose from and they were not Renault wine . We were a party of 8 we had dinner and dessert and 5 bottles of wine the bill was $840 . I feel that is a bit pricey for OK food
Went in after a round of golf had good meals before but was ignored this time. We walked in at 4 bartender saw us and said nothing so. We sat at booth. 10 minutes came amd went and nobody came over so we left. Seems like 4 there should be a server oh well maybe next time me maybe not
