Josie's Country Store & Café

I say this as a born and raised New Jersey man, land of the diners: this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. We went two days in a row, getting almost the exact same thing each day. It has been over a month and I’m still thinking about those home fries. The sandwiches were also delicious and were a real treat to enjoy as we hiked through Acadia. Food was great, service and people were great, I’m telling everyone that I know that’s going to Acadia National Park that they have to have breakfast at Josie’s along the way.

It looks like it just a convenience store, but they make an awesome breakfast! Service was great and so was the food. Both the breakfast burrito and classic breakfast plate were both well done. Their Rye toast was out of this world. Inside there was a huge selection of wine, beer, and snacks. Really glad we gave it a chance!

1st Time Visit this evening. We were greeted warmly upon entry and immediately shown to our seats on the back deck. Our waitress was there instantly, offering drinks and menus. Appetizers and food arrived in a timely manner. We had the Pastrami Sandwich Platters. The meal was hot, ample and out of this world delicious! That sandwich was crazy-good. Don't know What they do to their fries...! Seasoned to perfection and bubbly crispy. Wow. Best Meal we've had out in Ages! Friendly, Relaxed Atmosphere. Clean. Plenty of parking. We will Definitely make the drive back.

Don’t let appearances fool you, although this is a country store the restaurant here is surging up some of the best food in town. Fish tacos are a must have. Parking: Lots of Parking

Wow! Some of the best quality freshest food we have had in a long time. Huge variety of items with Asian twist. Yum. The fries were excellent best I've had in quite a while. The menu also contains many traditional American fare too. Vegetarian options: Quite a few Parking: Tons. Park around back Kid-friendliness: Kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: Go in front entrance

This is a great place to go if you have a large group. They have excellent cocktails. The food is good. I gave 4 instead of 5 because I didn’t care for the amount of mint leaves in my wrap. But everyone else loves their food.Food: 4/5

Outdoor seating and great food. We really enjoyed our dinner tonight, Asian beef stir fry and Citrus herb chicken with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Delicious. We sat outside on the deck. Beautiful evening. Had another wonderful dinner. We really enjoy Josie. Stopped by for lunch today. Had the club sandwich and it was delicious. Huge sandwich with lots of fries. It was a nice day so we sat out on the covered deck.

Food was fantastic, not at all what I was expecting from a place lumped in with a country store. The salmon and veggies were cooked to perfection and had great surprisingly good flavor. My wife said the chicken salad crossaunt sandwich was far better and more filling then she expected. She was also very pleased that they had Boba drinks that were very well done and in a wide variety of flavors. Prices were very reasonable especially considering the quality. The environment sitting outside was clean and well kept with a decent view out back. My father got the steak and as everything else it surprised us with how good it was! The only thing that confused us a little was after you are done you go inside to pay, we sat at the table for a while waiting for our check before watching some other patrons just get up after they were done, not a huge deal though, at least we weren't rushed out the door. We will be going back again for sure!

Great store. Full to the ceiling with items. Lots of snacks to choose from. Cold beer,decent wine. Great outdoor seating area year round. Lots of parking , good service. Will definitely be visiting often.
