Great splash pad just down the street from us! My boys love the splash pad in the summer and the new playground year round!
Older equipment in abundance. Tucked back away from parking. No outdoor restrooms. Baseball fields, basketball courts and splash pad that's not open due to incoming weather.
Took kids to the park with the splash pad with sister and mom. Kids had fun.
Great place to live. Peaceful, and Drama free. Environment clean. Safe place to raise children. Family oriented area. Apartments well kept, and on site security to keep us safe. Been living in Joy Park 15 years, since my daughter was in the wound, and she's now 15. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to start fresh and advance when you've created an structured plan to buy a home five stars
My son goes here for after school program. It's convenient when I work during the hours he will be released from school. I feel it would be safer place if doors was locked and you had to be buzzed in. Other than unlocked doors, my son loves the facility.
Waited 40 minutes for food had nothing but old people handing or food moving like death left because my car begin to overheat
Not bad this time .we were able to talkc about our favorite books we like to read and talk about homework like the boys and girls club when we had lunch .that was more important finding a summer school for all year around was the next best step beacuse the teachers we have even our coaches require a high leve of the right kind of attitude everybody is fetting a little bit better in not acceping stuipidy show middle class eforts because we are from the projects and we all had enough goofing off in school.
Nice park despite the area being shady as heck. Not a good place for young kids or teens to go alone. On some occasions it becomes quite full of hood rats and troublesome individuals.
The Good Samaritan food drive thru was off the hook , cars kept rolling in and they kept filling there trunks full of food , I believe they blessed so many family5
I just go for the food bank on Mondays.
