Juan Colorado Mexican Restaurant

Had a very questionable experience eating here today, there was a lot of seating available when we got there, everything looked good and somewhat inviting so we decided to eat here. Place seemed somewhat clean and the staff seems nice. I ordered a shredded beef burrito with rice and beans but asked for bo cheese on my beans, for my plate with no apparent cheese on my beans but when I got my fork to eat some the cheese submerged in the beans just strung up. Waitress came by we showed her what we got with apologies she went to get a new plate and to my surprise the same thing again. The waitress saw what I saw and promised to get more but honestly I didn’t want any more because my faith in this place diminished greatly, I may consider that this place may REUSE the left over beans, Mehta would there be cheese in these so called fresh beans? I do not recommend this place, if you are lactose intolerant I say stay away from this place. Something is wrong here with this food to experience this a few times.

Hello my fellow foodies! The hubby and I went to Juan's, to give then a 2nd chance. This time food serving was huge, lots of food. My margarita was big but not very favorable, that will be the only thing I would suggest to work on. Customer service was great!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes

Ordered takeout. First time there and to my impression it’s a really nice restaurant.Ordered carne asada plate and it’s the best in the area. Price is good too. The chips and salsa also superb. Two years living here and didn’t know this place. Shame on me. Must try and hey , if you don’t like it, try somewhere else. But I assure you. Won’t disappoint.

Excellent food and awesome service. We will definitely return. My burrito was big enough for three meals!! Salsa was just spicy enough!!

We always enjoy eating at Juan Colorado! The food is delicious, always hot, and big servings. Great service and they are all super friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The only negative thing I can say is I eat way too many chips and salsa! But then I can get 2 more small meals out of the leftovers! So it's a win-win! I highly recommend eating there!

Definitely not a place I’ll visit again. If you don’t like the meal and ask for something else, you’re paying for both. Fruit flies. I smelled… mold? I don’t know for sure but. Man, they need to work on cleanliness and greasiness for sure. Lots of potential in the food itself, I hope management makes it better in the next years and maybe I’ll be able to return, customer service wasn’t bad, just the general service and cleanliness and greasy food topped everything off. For reference: I got the fish tacos, very greasy but great flavor can’t complain. Friend got enchiladas; I couldn’t find the enchiladas on her plate Food that was returned: shrimp salad. It was just a pile of shrimp and no seasoning, maybe good as a side? But he got a burrito instead because… well obviously that wasn’t what he expected. Burrito turned out alright nothing special but nothing bad. I just didn’t want to Karen out on them over being charged for food we didn’t eat so I’m out $12. Just makes me a little sad that it wasn’t as good as expected, but my meal served it’s purpose at least. Too large of a menu for me to find anything else honestly. I really think the chefs would do great if the menu was brought down to ten or so good plates.

This is my favorite Mexican place in town. The food is good, I am a big fan of the Chili Colorado and the res sauce. Delicous! I also like everything else on their menu. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The wait staff is great and prompt. HUGE portion sizes. Lunch sizes are smaller, but are still very filling. And the price is very good value. Parking: Plenty of spots, never an issue here.

We eat at Juan Colorado regularly, several times a month. Great service, great variety of delicious food. Family atmosphere. My favorites are burrito expreso y el Muy Especial. My kids love the "Jarritos", while we enjoy mango margaritas . Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

If you want great authentic mexican food I'm talking lots of food for the price than try Juan Colorado in Hillsboro. You won't be disappointed.

Lots of good salsa in a bottle served with pleanty of chips. Very great flavor to all the food along with great fast service. My favorite after work stop. Great place with nice furniture to bring family too. Looks like at some point can watch somebody cook up front, not sure when though
