This 26-acre park is one of Anderson Township Park District's eight parks.
The Juilfs Foundation, through its generous gifts, has made this 26-acre park the crown jewel of the Anderson Park District. Children can live their dreams on the playground and water play or exercise their imagination on a tricycle track complete with pretend gas pumps.
A popular .9 mile hike/bike trail winds around the park’s perimeter. Within its bounds reside two sand volleyball courts, a basketball court, three competition level ball diamonds, seasonal soccer fields, three tennis courts and restrooms (located on the backside of the office building). Sprinkled throughout the park are picnic tables with grills and two shelters; one includes a working fireplace.
Juilfs Park is also the most popular location for items purchased from the park district’s Lasting Gifts program, including adopted trees, benches and the “Apple of Your Eye” Tribute Tree.
