Dr. Julia Burrow and Associates offer child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluations and medication management services.
Dr. Burrow is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who returns to Perrysburg after completing her residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan in 2013. Originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, she completed her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at Bowling Green State University and her medical degree at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She was honored to be inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2008 and awarded the Abraham Heller Psychiatry Clerkship Award in 2007. While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Burrow gained extensive experience in the treatment of mood, anxiety, developmental and psychotic disorders. She has additional training in autism disorders, eating disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
She enjoys working with children, teens, adults and families across the lifespan. She utilizes a collaborative approach in reviewing evidence-based treatment options with families. If indicated, she will work closely with schools, workplaces, primary care providers, medical specialists or individual therapists to allow for comprehensive treatment strategies. Additionally, she offers a comprehensive approach to treatment including medication management and therapy.
She prides herself on getting to know you or your child on a personal level and making clinical decisions with you after discussion of diagnosis, treatment recommendations and the current evidence base in medical literature.
