Went for the happy hour on the patio today. Wish I got the name of our server cause he deserves a shout out by name he was on the ball kept our water filled up and was v friendly. The patio is great and the happy hour is possibly the best value of any I’ve seen. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return to try the full menu! We ordered almost 1 of each dishes between 3 and we all left in pain. Not shabby with the portions at all.
The restaurant is lovely aesthetically speaking, decor is great inside and in the courtyard where there is additional seating. Arrived a bit before six and staff passed by several times, clearly looking at us and no-one coming to greet us. I'm not sure how long we would have waited. We were there for an RBC sponsored dining event, and asked where we sh ould go to be seated at the bar as no-one came for about 15 mins. We were sent to a private party, the event also by RBC and were quite befuddled as it wasn't what was expected. After an embarrassing encounter with the patron if the wrong event, we were seated in our proper section. Off to a bad start. The food was well presented but everything was overly salty. Overall not a great night. The waitstaff however were attentive and pleasant. Lowered my score as the restaurant reached out with a mediocre response. No response would have been more satisfying tbh. Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible location
Service was great they refilled our water very frequently and food was decent. Portion size was good but the burger was slightly over cooked. They said it would be medium but the burger came out well done. Still had a great taste and fries were good. Charging for refills on soft drinks is a bit excessive though! Still would recommend! Also a nice birthday treat of sorbet!
My friend and I recently went to Jump for a girls night dinner. Service was good overall. There wasn’t anything in particular on the menu that really caught my attention so I opted for a light refreshing cocktail, shared the grilled calamari, and the Seared Scallops & Golden Beet Risotto. Everything was okay but definitely overpriced. The grilled calamari definitely is more of an appetizer than a main. It’s definitely not a big enough portion to keep you full. The risotto was good but only had four scallops. If they could replace the beets that looked like scallops, then it would’ve justified the price a bit better. I spent with gratuity $88. I rarely dine out at high end restaurants so I was okay with paying that much.
Average busy spot for professionals. Nothing we had there was a repeat. Definitely not coming back but it is convenient if you work in the area and have a business lunch. You can get way better food for the same price at any other upper scale restaurant in toronto.
We went here on Thursday night for winterlicious. The waitress was very polite and the service was great, but we weren’t too impressed with the food. It tasted ok, nothing special. We paid over $200 with drinks and we didn’t feel full when we left. The atmosphere is definitely very corporate because it’s by the financial district, so not a romantic place if that is your intention going here.
Decided to try Jump for my partner's birthday and we were not disappointed. From that start we were greeted by their excellent service, where we recommended excellent drinks and were even given a complimentary oyster course. All the dishes were really great and the highlight of night was definitely the Osso Bucco! Finally they were so accommodating with the birthday cakes that we got elsewhere, where they even laid them out with great presentation at the end of the night. Will visit once again for the great experience!
Organized a corporate dinner here and was very happy with the service and food. A few little things could use updating when it comes to the decor but all in all, a pretty good experience. The only downside is that as a mobility challenged person, I had to wait about 5 minutes when entering and exiting for a security guard to come and operate the elevator. While food was good, the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Water and drinks were not promptly refilled and it took extremely long for food to arrive at the tableFood: 4/5
Jump was overall a very good experience. The location is large and spacious though a little more room between neighbouring tables would be appreciated. The service is friendly and accommodating. And the food is tasty and well presented. It is a very expensive dinner though we spent over $200 per person, including taxes and a standard tip. With this in mind, while we had a very good experience, I’d say that you’d don’t quite get great value for your money. Solid 4/5 stars Follow me on Instagram @yamisofoodie for more.
