Junior Achievement offers Kindergarten - 12th grade students in every school district in Brazoria County free basic moneymanagmetn & economic programs. These hands on, colorful, programs hep youth make career goals and focus on staying in school in order to become self-sufficient adults. Programs are also offered free to private schools, after school programs and other organizations working with the youth of the area.
JA is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the education of Kindergarten – 12th grade students in free enterprise education. Our Worldwide accredited programs include: basic money management, career investigation, business basics, leadership, ethics, job skills, global economics and entrepreneurship. Initiatives include Efforts for At Risk Youth, A. P. Beutel, III Scholarship & Buster Curry Scholarship Fund, The Hispanic initiative, The Futures Endowment, Celebrity Waiter Social, “Who’s Who” Golf Classic, Brazoria County Business Hall of Fame, Veteran’s Day Bowl, and capital campaigns for advancement of youth.
