Juniper Hill Aquatic Center

This is a really neat place with a HUGE water slide, lots of sprinklers & other fun water areas to play in. There is a smaller separate sprinkler dump bucket area that is nice for littler kids. The facilities are well maintained and very clean. Google Maps currently has the Golf Club tagged as the Aquatic Center I submitted an edit request to correct.

With it being the last weekend they were open and us being new residents of Frankfort we decided to treat our 8 yr old to a couple of hours at the pool. The wait was long but I appreciate the effort in keeping numbers low. Park is simple but admission was cheap. Perfect for little kids. If only they hired people who actually like kids. We were aware they close at 630 so at 6 we pushed my son to go down the side while he still had time. After a couple of trips they blew a whistle that I assumed meant “wrap it up”. Explaining to a kid that we’re heading out 15-20 min before closing is bc difficult but when he didn’t throw a fit we said he could jump in and right back out. When telling him this a woman with a cast on her leg inserted herself into it by yelling “can’t you see everyone getting out of the pool” We didn’t realize she was talking to us until she kept going and my fiancé turned around and said “excuse me” she proceeded to argue with him about us allowing him to jump one more time but at this point my son was already in the pool and climbing out then she decided to yell “and you wonder why we don’t like the kids here” and kept going and going. I am very glad this is the last weekend bc I won’t have to explain to my child why we won’t EVER come back here. IF YOU DON’T LIKE KIDS THIS PROBABLY ISN’T THE JOB FOR YOU AND DON’T CLAIM TO CLOSE AT 630 IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT EVERYONE GONE BY 615

Great mix of activities and features for the whole family to enjoy. However, the one thing that does not quite make sense, is the height requirement for the lazy river. More specifically, if a child can clearly stand with their head/shoulders above the water and/or be with a parent, it seems burdensome to have this requirement and does limit the enjoyment of a large activity within the venue.

My family enjoys going to this small water park every summer for a few years now. It's reasonably priced, has nice staff every year, clean, but come early for good seating. The lazy river is my personal favorite just wish it was more lazy. All the spraying water disturbs the calm flow of the river but the kids do enjoy it.

This place gets one star for the sole fact of lack of safety, security, and training with the lifeguards. NEVER have I been to a public pool, water park, aquatic center etc that allows lifeguards to have ear buds and play with their phones while sitting on the lifeguard stands. You better hope your kid can swim or you’re watching closely in case there’s an emergency because chances are the lifeguard is too busy taking selfies which we witnessed, or playing with their phones, and/or music to care about their job. What’s worse is numerous managers walking around allowing this to happen. Wow. Just wow. I never write reviews but this definitely needs to be addressed! Liability waiting to happen!

It’s so fun and the lifeguards are friends with me and the food is great. The pool is always clean. And overall it’s just amazing there.

HORRIBLE STAFF!!! They are rude and yelled at my 7 year old. We were attending for birthday party never been here but I will never return and will make sure no one I know comes! Do not take your kids here

I used to come here when it was just a pool and even went there on its last day as a pool back in 2014. I even have a pin saying i went there on its last day as a pool. I was a little kid back then so i was upset to hear they were changing it, but when i went back i enjoyed it even more. Highly recommend.
