Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum offers climbing tours of the landmark 1860 lighthouse. The waterfront Museum in the restored World War II Naval housing builidng exhibits "Five Thousand Years on the Loxahatchee" and outdoor exhibits include the Oil House, Lighthouse Keepers Workshop Exhibit, Tindall Pioneer Homestead, Pennock Plantation Bell, Seminole Chickee and Early Native American kiosks.
The Loxahatchee River Historical Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. As stewards of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, the LRHS safeguards, sustains and interprets the historical sites and dynamic maritime heritage of the Loxahatchee River Region in southeast Florida.
Our gift shop features collectible lighthouses, prints, art, clothing, jewelry, books, toys, puzzles, our home-made Lighthouse Fudge, coffee mugs and more. Loxahatchee River Historical Society Members receive a 10% discount on all merchandise. We also offer Gift Certificates for sale. All purchases support the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum.
