We absolutely love this place and would never think of taking our dog anywhere else. They took really fantastic care of her during our absence. If you are in need of boarding I definately reccomend them. We would not board our dog anywhere else.

I was skeptical at first when I saw the most recent review about the kennel but I must say the manager was amazing the whole staff was amazing and they returned my call immediately and answered my questions, gave me updates on my dog. I felt very comfortable with them and I will definitely be boarding my German Shepherd there because I feel like he have so much space available for him. He was able to run around and play. Definitely 5star

Hi everyone, I'm not one for bad talking small businesses as i know the effect it can have on a word to mouth basis, positive or negative. I'll start off by stating this is NOT a fraudulent review, as to the owner believes all one star reviews are. This is simply the truth on our experience with our two dogs. My girlfriend and I left both our boxers for one night/day here rather than our usual "BARK PARK" place in stuart due to holiday hours. We packed thin bed mats, blankets, bowls, treats, and dog food all in a medium size bag. We were simply trying to make their stay as comfortable as we could. When we got there the next day on 11/23/18 to pick them up, we decided we wanted to walk back with the young lady at the front to get our dogs. When we got there, it seemed that all the dogs were supervised by a young man, he is the one that handed us back our bag that seemed to have NEVER been unpacked. Our dogs were in a kennel without any of there things packed, it was just them and a water bowl with a hard concrete floor. This is not "JUST LIKE HOME" to me. If I am going to take the extra effort and time to pack my dogs belongings and pay for a services I expect you as a business to do your part, and not decide you don't want to unpack anything or not give them their treats. Who knows, maybe it was bad timing on my arrival, either way this was my experience and i will continue to take my dogs to "BARK PARK" and pay a little more that goes a long way. Thanks.

I highly recommend "just like home kennel" the staff is professional and the place is very clean. I board my two dogs there every time I'm out of town.

This kennel is so peaceful and the grounds are expansive, to say the least! The 'swimming pond' , without chlorine, is great for all dogs and very therapeutic for the older dogs with joint pain. The employees do their best to accommodate the clients' wishes while being very attentive to the needs of their pets. With the indoor/outdoor runs opening up to grassy yards, what more could an animal ask for?! I would gladly leave my pets in the care of Just Like Home Kennel because they are considered "family", not just clients.

My dogs are very difficult to control when getting their nails trimmed and they were able to do it easier than anywhere else. We have been to MANY places over the years oldest 2 boys are 11 yrs and they have been the best by far!

We have been using this kennel for years but recently it’s been on the decline. About 3 months ago our dogs came back and our smallest had a tick on him which was odd considering he does not go outside at home and was supposed to receive a bath, ok things happen however I wouldn’t expect dogs to come home with ticks. However recently an emergency forced us to place our dogs in the kennel for a week and one of our dogs came home with green discharge coming out of her eyes and one of her eyes could barley open, and our other dog came home with scabs all over his face which is also very odd considering that they aren’t supposed to be let out with other dogs, they have been informed and we’ve never had any issues with our dogs fighting each other. Additionally it was 900 dollars to board 3 dogs for a week and one of them isn’t even 6 pounds that is outrageous. For paying 900 dollars I would think that they would have not come home with scabs on faces from being bit because they let them out with other dogs or eye infections that are so bad we had to take our pet to a vet asap. Something certainly has changed and it is not for the better. Very very disappointed in just like home.

Incredible staff and facility! My dogs love spending time at Just Like Home. The staff treats them as if they’re their own, and they give my elder pup much needed attention when I’m at work or out of town. I wouldn’t use any other facility.

Former employee. Rats, bugs and death we’re a regular at this facility. Management let staff do whatever they wanted with no supervision along with NO updates to the building. Dogs drink well water from rusty pipes. Management lawsuit between owners took a major turn and resulted in all staff being fired. They just hired people to take care of beloved pets from Craigslist OVERNIGHT. PLEASE take a look around this building. There are much better options. Pay a little more if you really care for your pets.

Just Like Home Kennels has taken care of our golden retriever a few times for more than a week. When we bring our dog back she appears happy and excited to be back on the property. When we receive after boarding she is healthy and fit. They feed her according to our instructions and run her well and she gets along well with the other dogs that share the run times with her.
