Just Pets

This is my favorite store for many years now. One of the only places around to pick up amazing saltwater coral and amazing saltwater fish. Just pets is also the only place in the area to have live rats and mice for my snakes . They also have best prices on freshwater fish too. Added bonus is that there receipts have a coupon for 20 percent of fish for next time u stop in!!!!! Oh yesssss!!

Friendly local pet shop with a decent selection of fish and other pets. I have visited many times and every time the staff have been friendly and helpful. I have purchased a few fish the likes of which no other store in the area had including Galaxy Rasboras and some very nice Galaxy Koi Bettas. Their aquatic plant selection is nice as well as their fish food selection. This has become my go to pet shop in the area and I will be returning whenever I have a need.

Wow. Prepared to be blown away by the selection and knowledge of the staff. Great place for your pet needs.

A super super sad first visit and I won’t come back! the condition of the small animals is absolutely despicable. No enrichment, toys, or activity in the tanks at ALL. Hamsters and gerbils kept pushed back on dark shelves in rows with no sunlight. Rabbits were cowering in the corner terrified and with nothing at all to do in their cage. Very sad. Don’t support this business- adopt or buy elsewhere. :

I’ve been to this place a handful of times and every time I leave feeling so sad and angry. While they do take great care of the fish… the animals in the back are in extremely horrible conditions. None of them have the correct habitats and they are sitting in so much spoiled bedding. They have tarantulas on aspen which is not right at all, snakes in very dry enclosures, and the smell of pee coming from there is just horrid. That place should be shut down if I’m being honest. Those animals deserve way better than that. Disappointed to say the least

The person that helped us was very nice and seemed very informative but I found out after my own research and going to another Pet Store that they had no clue what they were telling me! If I wouldn’t have asked elsewhere, my pet would have died! Please teach your employees about the pets they are working with!!

Large variety of pets. My daughter got a very tame hamster from here. Store was clean and all animals looked healthy. Staff was helpful.

Far from enough space for the amount of animals they have crammed into cages. All of the hamsters, bunnies, chinchillas, etc looked extremely neglected & miserable. A situation where you want to adopt them all to get them out of a clearly poor environment, but ethically we couldn’t justify giving this business money to continue these practices. The bunnies are kept in cages they are 1/4 the size of, with no room to exercise, hide, etc. Super super sad.

The way they have there live animals caged is heart breaking. This is what my friend had to say when going to the store. “ The baby rats were looking down and hiding in a tiny plastic house, sleeping on wire ground probably hurting them with a water bottle caked up with algae, barley any food, and no bedding or anything whatsoever for them to play with.” Living animals deserve to be treated right and if you can do that then stick to fish/ store supplies.

Bought my betta fish from here and he is still happy and healthy. I frequently visit this place to purchase stuff for my fish. However, this store is always so dirty. And the staff can be rude and take forever to help me.
