Really fantastic food. Fish friend just like my grandma used to do it, always fresh. The hush puppies are perfectly golden brown and crispy on the outside, soft and moist inside. Generous portions, not to greasy. The people who work here are always so sweet but also appropriate and never make me feel uncomfortable or like I'm being hit on. Be ready to wait a little because everything is made fresh but if you're in the mood for fried fish, you'll leave happy and full.
I'm sorry but whoever calls their fish fresh DO NOT know what fresh fish is, it taste like frozen fish that comes in bags from the grocery store, fresh fish from the ocean don't look or taste/look like that, the shrimps are also not from the ocean they're farm raised but taste ok because of the seasonings, fries are extremely greasy, he put all the greasy food on top of my bread so when I got home my bread wasn't edible it was soaked with oil. I will give it one more try with the chicken wings next time, I try to help out our black businesses but ppl just don't make food fresh anymore. I will continue to buy my fresh fried seafood from roselle seafood, 2nd Ave in roselle, very good.
Worst place ever. So I go there the first time thinking oh, this is just fish I'm going to enjoy myself here. Worst place ever customer service was bad in East Orange. The little girl that said the counter she's very nasty and rude then I go there to the Union location and the guy who identified himself as Sharif is very demanding when he's asking to take my order my food was undercooked and the coleslaw was bad sour. I will never go to this place again. And if I were you readers I would not go there either. Good luck if you do
Amazing!! Im always cooking and my family loves fried seafood and they season their fish and shrimp the same way i do. Im so happy i found a place to go when i dont feel like cooking. Higly recommend for anyone who loves seafood and hush puppies :-
I have been here a few times. The fresh fish is good the shrimp are great. The lemonade & up towns are very good. Always good service and clean every time I go.

This place sucks don't waste your money or time me and my Husband decided to give them a chance because years ago we enjoyed the one on south orange ave however this place is bad business from the time u step in there's nail polish fumes no scent of food which is strange because the cook had just cooked somebody food upon us walking in we still smelled nothing but strooonng nail polish fumes on another note me and my husband ordered the 10 fish 15, shrimp &, fries for $29.99 we asked can we substitute the fries for hush puppies he very loud and aggressively said no... so my husband responded wow really he repeated very aggressively no I said no u only can get what's right here... We looked at one another because this man had very bad hospitality he's the cook a really big guy the cashier was pleasant moving along we ordered the food going against all our strikes #1, your cooking behind a wall where no one can see any cooking at all MInd u while he's cooking u smell no food still #2 food was all packed in one box fries under 10 fish and what was suppose to be 15 shrimp we were cheated for our 29.99 the fries were soggy we had at least 6 shrimp on top of that we order a side order of hush puppies which has a bad after taste#3 we peeped a sign on the door that said something like brothers and sisters support your own have some dignityreally you are in union township center with that sign u won't get others coming in union is predominately mixed nowww... Check your demographics before posting something like that u need all the money u can get and soon your place of business in this town will just be a memory be blessed if u want others to show u love respect them when they come in your establishment
Coleslaw was sour and watery . Fish was undercooked and not seasoned .. never again! 1 star was too much for this place!!
The gentleman who took care of my order was very courteous and the food was delicious especially the special sauce!
