My experience at this track left me feeling a bit frustrated with their fairness to drivers. Our group consisted of 5 drivers, all pushing ourselves to the limit. However, in the next round, they added another driver to our group. It seemed like they had control over the kart speeds, and they only increased that person's speed, which allowed him to overtake us like we were beginners. When we inquired about it, they simply brushed it off, claiming that he was more experienced. If you're looking for a more fair and enjoyable go-karting experience, I'd recommend checking out K1 Speed in San Bruno instead.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned racer, K1 Speed Indoor is a fantastic destination for adrenaline-packed fun.
Overall a really fun experience. It also depends on who you raced with. Our first race with good drivers was smooth and no bumping. Our second race with bad drivers was really bumpy and lots of stopping. So it’s the luck of the draw - or you can bring a whole big group, it’s 11 people per race!
I was here to race for my friends birthday and was outraged to find out that of the employees had a speed controller in his cart and was zooming around. All the carts should be the same speed, but 2 people flew by me like I was standing still, going almost double my speed. One of the “racers” Hit my dad so hard it spun him around even while he was going full speed. When i asked for a different cart because I wanted the one the fast guy had, the employee ignored me and asked my friend what our names were. My dad went to confront an employee at the front desk and his response was that they are “experienced drivers” and they have “established themselves as good drivers”. The main guy was named Erick Gutierrezalso the track record holder that the location, who also got to do one more lap then everyone else, passing slow carts getting ready to park. I’m very upset because we payed for a chance to get 1st place, but good luck with that. I guess they value employees more then customers.
We had a great Birthday party for my son with over 50 guests. The front desk staff and Steven, the Manager that day did an awesome job with the coordination and making sure everything was running smoothly with the party. The restaurant staff did a wonderful job on bringing out the delicious hot food on time. The track crew did excellent job with making sure all our young junior and adult racers were comfortable in the karts and safe while racing. Finally a big thanks to Juan Sandavol, the General Manager of Santa Clara location for making our birthday party a huge success with the kiddos and parents. They all had a great time and they want to come back to race again! You guys are the best and I highly recommend future customers to come check them out for your next party. Ray Wabe, a very highly satisfied customer.
Kart condition is good. Service is okay. But I really don’t like how they are handling the power of karts. The karts aren’t that fast even when it’s on full power, and they turn down the power all the time. Very often I’m racing with someone else and they just turn off the kart. I understand that it’s for safety but you really don’t have to slow everyone down when someone just touches the wall not even a spin. It’s even worse when someone has an accident and stops. They slow everyone down to a crawling speed to help with that person. When the track is clear, they enable half power for almost one lap before turning on full power. I was able to complete a couple of laps with full power in two races. Not worth the money.
Track is amazing - very flowing, somewhat technical, and many racing lines. I personally love squared off double-corner combos, and this one has two! All karts I drove were well balanced, and only one felt underpowered towards the end of its stint. I'd definitely do league here if I lived nearby. 4 stars since my helmet visor kept detaching.
The facilities are nice, karts are in great condition, and the track itself is interesting. Didn't have to wait too long to get started in a race. The main issue I have is when individuals within the same race get to have added power to their karts. I believe this kills the competitive of go-kart racing when other karts can individually have their power increased over others. It took the fun out of it for me because even though that person got first place, it goes into question on whether it was on true merit, or the fact that they have a faster car. I understand these realities exist in professional racing, i.e. F1, but go-karting is intended to level the playing field. If a driver really is experienced, they should be able to overtake others using the same power level, while relying on racing lines, reduced mistakes, and general overtaking strategy. If these "experienced" drivers, as subjectively dictated by the race marshals, really are that. Then perhaps they should group them the "experienced" racers into their own group.
We came here twice and it was not terribly busy during mid week mid day also we have group reservations. The car speed do vary from car to car. Also not sure how they throttle the speed. First time everyone was doing sub 25s and our best was 24s. Second time our best was 27s and average about 28s. I doubt everyone drove worse by 2 seconds. I wish they are more consistent.
We had a Family race day for my Nephews Bday. The Manager at the Santa Clara track always takes care of us, very courteous and professional. That’s our home track. We had another great experience on Sat the 3rd of June.
