We ordered Koobideh and Barg kebab. Koobideh was juicy and delicious. Barg Kebab was also juicy and tender. Doogh watery yogurt was great too. The meal size was ok for the price. But usually the meals are larger at Persian restaurants.Food: 5/5
We absolutely loved our lunch at Kabob Cafe. I had the #35, hubs had #36. We were both pleased by how fresh everything was. It really hit the spot and we can't wait to go back.Food: 5/5
Visited this amazing restaurant with my client, for a business lunch. It is like a hidden Jewel. Very authentic Persian food. The restaurant was very clean and the seating was very well laid out. We met with the owner of the restaurant and he was very polite and walked us through the menu as it was our first time. We ordered the appetizers as well as the main entrees, which was a good decision. Loved the Chelo Barg and the Gyro. Service was very personalized. The portions were good size and loved the taste. The ambiance and the music they had was very relaxing. I ll definitely be visiting this place soon.
We had the beef soltani kabob and it was heavenly. The barg kabob melted in your mouth and the koobideh kabob was juicy and perfect. The kabob was seasoned well and very flavorful. The service was also very friendly and kind. We were very pleased and will be back. Thanks!Food: 5/5
The kabobs are amazing & taste very fresh and yummy . The rice is definitely my weakness. The hibiscus tea is very refreshing as well. This is my second time coming & definitely not my last. Food: 5/5
We ordered the Lamb, Chicken and Falafel wrap. All the wraps were good. The meat was juicy and had flavor. We ordered to go and it was ready before we got there. They have indoor dining. The interior looks a little worn out but the food was awesome.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I had the falafel and the lamb gyro Omg! It was soooo good!! Don’t miss out. I can tell they put a lot of care into my mealFood: 5/5
I love eating at Kabob Cafe! The owners are all very sweet and provide great service. I always get the #35 - Beef Koubideh Kabob and it is absolutely delicious!Food: 5/5
Love the look and vibe. Very courteous gentleman took my phone order. Beef is cooked perfectly. Presentation is very thoughtful, onions and lemon significantly help the taste. Chicken is overcooked, meats are flavorless unmarinated?, portions small in general. Rice is bland and undercooked today. Yogurt is actually bitter somehow and needs salt. The butter is actually SOYBEAN oil. No mint, basil, or feta provided. They do not have Toum / garlic sauce. I really want good kebabs in sugarland but currently better to go to westheimer/hillcroft intersection. Best of luck.
Overall, the food was not bad, it could have been more flavorful. If you decide to go here the mix chicken and beef skewer is good choice and so was the gyro lamb. The chicken soltani was the biggest rip off, it is basically the same thing as the chicken kaboudeh, only difference was it was one skewer chicken and one grilled, but the price on it is outrageous and taste was no different from the other dish. The fish portion was small and so was the falafel. It looks like they took one falafel and cut into 2 and count each half as a piece. So 5 pieces are basically 2 whole falafel and a half. See picture for reference. I asked for 2 sauces and even though the owner gave it for free he did ask for 75 cents per extra sauce. It was not a bad experience, just few things that could have been better and they could improve on.
