Kabob Inn is the source for terrific carry out when I’m in the area. Their clean, tidy to go orders have never failed me. I love their shawarmas, I feel they pack in the meat order, don’t skimp on the roll and are very nice. Depending on the time of day it can get slammed but usually in and out. This family owned joint is worth a stop in if you’re traveling down and around Telegraph and Joy.

I've been wanting to come to this establishment for a while now. I even bookmarked this location. I came in for lunch around 1:51 pm. I ordered 1 lunch special, no other customers were present when I walked in. Several customers came in after me, and received there food before me. Not pick up orders. Other customers placed orders as I did. I literally received my food 17 minutes later. The food was great, the resturant was clean, the resturant is gorgeous, and bathrooms were emacalent. I just felt over looked and ignored. Maybe because I was the only African American. Being a minority, we know exactly what racism feels like. A feeling that cant be exaggerated. Considering we are from the same continent, AFRICA that is. I felt like I didn't fit in. I paid nearly $16 for a Greek sandwich, with rice and pop. Overpriced, the food was good, no doubt....should've went to Sharwma Village on Beech Daly and Telegraph tho, the food is also bomb there too and customer service is A1. Friendliness, is a no at this establishment. I hate leaving reviews like this, especially when the food is great but lack customer service. People dont forget how you make them feel. Overpriced lunch menu and lacks hospitality. So it's a NO for me. No thanks. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from.
I went here recently and was really disappointed in the significant difference in the amount of food they put in my veggie combo. It was unreal! They changed the box and said this is their new box but are still charging $15 for that little bit of food. I don't like feeling gypped when I go places. I've been going there for years but if this is the way the restaurant wants to cut cost I will have to spend my money where it's actually worth it. They food still taste good just way smaller portions and I don't appreciate it.
Kabob Inn has AMAZING food. Their customer service is great. I must have ordered from here atleast 20 times this year maybe more. They have a sandwich called tawook extra, after its done its dipped in zaatar and olive oil. AMAZING flavors. Best falafel sandwich in town. Salads always have vibrant colors with nice fresh crunchiness. The bomb burger is out of this world. Fries always taste great and fresh, never oily. Honestly the best middle eastern food in dearborn/dearborn heights area. Thanks guys for always providing great service and even better food!!!!!
Ordered a Caesar salad and they gave me a Greek salad. This isn’t the first or second time but the third time. Make sure to check your food before you leave.
Kabob Inn @kabob_inn food was really good! We ordered Combo for 3, came kabobs, beef and chicken skewers, rice, fatoush salad, and we ordered a side of hummus. It was very delicious, I don’t think I’ve had chicken skewers before that were cooked just right, without being dry! It was all great from the hummus, fatoush and the entree! Must try! Price: $-$$ Service: Good, could use some improvement. Overall Review: If you are looking for some excellent Arabic food than this is a place to try!
Good middle eastern food, good prices and service. The sandwiches are very good, restaurant is at a good location and has ample seating space. They have a long queue for take out and relatively easy dining place to seat quickly. Tawook extra was awesome and deluxe falafel was quite yummy. The garlic was flavorful The lentil soup was amazing, Would definitely return for more.
This place used to serve one of the best chicken tawook sandwiches in town, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. Today, when I ordered the chicken tawook sandwich, it had only two small pieces of chicken, and it felt more like a coleslaw sandwich. Also, the fries inside the sandwich were really old. Unfortunately, I have to give today's sandwich a zero out of 10.
They have dine in, but it’s more like takeaway that you can eat at the tables. Not table service. Decent sandwiches and fries were nicely done and hot. The food was okay. They use way too much styrofoam and plastic in the takeout so I felt that was a waste.Food: 3/5
