Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse

This was my second time visiting Kabuki and I had a very enjoyable experience. We were able to be seated promptly and the server that was assigned to our area was very knowledgeable about the menu. Our water glasses were topped off at least 3 times in the 30 minutes and the food was presented well. I like when a restaurant takes time for presentation and that is why I gave 5 stars.

I have eaten here a few times. The staff is friendly and answers any questions you have. I have only ordered to go and it is ready within 20 minutes. The food is always fresh and hot. They give you a good portion size for the price. Their onion soup is best I've had at any Japanese restaurant. Their regular steak is ok but a little dry. The filet is better, but I still think they could get better cuts of filet and add a little more flavor to it. The vegetables are always cooked well.

I love the hibachi vegetables as well as the teriyaki tofu and brown rice. They’re always quick with the service whenever I go. Unless, you’re sitting at the hibachi table waiting for others to join…Food: 5/5

I've visited this place 3 times in 1 month. I love the Hibachi Salmon. That's my go-to, along with sushi! I've sat in front of the Hibachi Grill, which is entertaining. I noticed that they add gratuity automatically when you sit there. I've also sat in the regular dining area. Love the variety of adult drinks to choose from as well! The only thing that keeps them from getting 5 stars, they use a lot of oil and a LOT of butter on the food. I love the food, but I won't be coming too often because of that reason alone. It'll have to serve as a treat of an outing. My arteries need a little break Other than that, CHEF'S KISS!

We got there right at the end of the lunch time. They still seated us and gave us a quick hibachi show. They definitely had every right to tell us to take out only but they took care of us. Food was great as always. Dietary restrictions: You can pick what foods you want with your hibachi. Not sure if it works for people with allergies but you can avoid certain foods. Kid-friendliness: They are really good about involving the kids in the hibachi show, and also great about taking it down if the kids are having a hard time.

We came here on a special occasion with my nephew. We were expecting a show. We got nothing. The chef was in and gone without any show at all. No onion volcano, nothing. He cooked the food and left. And even then, the vegetables were undercooked. And then we watched another chef perform spectacularly for the family at the next grill. I feel cheated. We paid the same prices, but we got so much less. On top of that, they charged us an automatic 15% tip. For a party of three.

Loved the food here especially the sushi. Would love to come back again with more friends. Service was great and the environment was nice. Gave us good recommendations. Update: came back again after 7 months. Took the girl I liked here for the first date and we are together now officially. Definitely gotta keep coming here. Tried the out of control rolls and kabuki special roll. Both were absolutely amazing. And the service has gotten even better.

Me and my wife have gone here since we first starting dating over fourteen years ago. The owner has always taken care of us and the restaurant looks great for it's age. I love the adult drinks and the staff. It's my first choice for hibachi style dining in Montgomery although I prefer the dining room over the grill. My favorite ginger dressing in town also and it's great with the steak.
