Nice place wife loved her hot butterbeer latte. She also got an all American and I got the Monte Cristo crepes both where very goodFood: 4/5
This place is a lot like a place called European Connection--a crepe restaurant I visited often when I was in college. The crepes are light and the fillings delicious. I had a breakfast in bed crepe and my friend had the chicken crepe with pesto sauce. Mine was good but hers looked better. Spinach...cheese. Mine had crumbled bacon....which is good I just wasn't in the mood for it. She said the chicken crepe would've been better with the hollandaise sauce. For my first time visit...around 9/10 on a Saturday morning....there was a line getting in but moved quickly. The owner took our order and was polite and friendly. Seats opened up while we were in line at multiple tables but we decided to eat outside. I'll definitely be back again and this time bringing my family! The prices seemed about right. I ordered 2 crepes, a coffee and a hot cocoa and our bill was roughly $40.
Dear Waitress I hope you take this to heart. Me and my friend came in, ordered, and were in the middle of eating when we were approached by you outside and you said there was a mixup with our order. I responded I know that’s okay it’s still good, as even though the order we got was not quite right the inside of the crepe had some different ingredients we are not the type of people to complain or cause issues over little mistakes people make. Then you followed by saying “where do you get off taking someone else’s food” We were shocked by this as our name was called for this order and handed to us. TURNS OUT there was someone with the EXACT same name, and with almost the EXACT same order for the EXACT number of people 2 plates each. My friend apologized as this was an unfortunate accident and not done out of malice, and explained he had the same name. However you seemed dismissive, left abruptly and never apologized even slightly for assuming the worst of us and that really put a damper on the start of my day. I understand people can be entitled and bad days are a thing but next time please don’t assume the worst about people! We were willing to give you grace even if our order was incorrect, I would hope you’d at least give us the same back as customers. I just hope you see this because things like this can really give people a bad experience and there is enough of those in the world, and people at least deserve to explain themselves without being judged.
Very cute place for breakfast/ brunch. Coffee was very well made and the crepes were very filling and delicious!Food: 5/5
My latte is perfect every time, the krepes are phenomenal and offer a lot of variety on the menu to keep it fresh and exciting each time we come back. The ratio of filling is always spot on too which I really appreciate, they are very balanced. 5 Stars for sure!
First time here really. The inside was clean and nicely decorated. My fiancée got the breakfast in bed crepe and I got the monthly special, peaches and creame. Both were very tasty. The only issue there seemed to be was when they delivered our order in a to-go-bag my order seemed to be missing. After I took it up with the manager maybe the owner it was corrected and I was given a complementary card for a free lemon and sugar crepe on my next visit. Looking forward to my next visit, thanks!
Edit... today was dissappointing. Our Monte Cristos were the size minis, with no powdered sugar on top. Very minimal filling. The chicken & spinach had about 2 Tbspoons of cheese. Didnt even want to finish it. Normally both of these crepes have a melty, cheesy filling, but today they were not up to the standards we usually get at Kagens. Normally do not like to write negative reviews, but thought maybe it would help someone else avoid this situation. This coffee drink is soooooooo yummy...iced white chocolate raspberry sub oat milk, 20 ozs. You have to try it. My fave is mini or half crepe... the chicken, spinach, and cheese with pesto on the side. I love their pesto so much! Super yummy. Came here with hubby , so glad we did. His fave & now my kiddo's fave as well, is the Monte Cristo, it comes with a side of raspberry jam. Will come back again & again. The atmosphere, the music, lovely. Super friendly employees. Love this place!
Should be called coffee and quesadillas. The stuffing is a very thin layer of mostly cheese and a little egg and deli ham got the all American and monte crusty. On the other hand the coffee is very tasty. When I said I wanted it to go, they added a 2.7$ “service charge.” I had to ask what it was for- it’s for the “to go box and plastic silverware.” They don’t have this charge on the menu- it’s illegal in WA to have a hidden service charge. Also, 2.7$ for a cardboard box?
The restaurant is beautiful. The employees are almost to nice. The Crepes are exquisite. The price is a little high. I left hungry. Mind you I am cheep if $10 won't fill me up I am sad. Lol Full sweet Crepes $10 each half order $8.50. Coffee From Rockabillies was "ok" "my wife drinks coffee not me" $2.15. orange juice bottled I could get a grocery store$3.00. I would have loved to see some fresh squeeze orange juice. They have free Wi-Fi and overall was a great experience today my first time eating Crepes. My wife is quite the connoisseur she loves their crepes. I did not notice it until we were leaving or I would have picked it up and played it while I was there but they have a guitar hanging on the wall that says please play me!:I love that. Total with tip $28.35 Kid-friendliness: Crayons at each table I'm going to guess pictures they can draw color on also Parking: The uptown in Richland huge parking lot easily park right close to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Local hangout . Place was a little dirty. Most customers were under 30, along with the staff. Kitchen was open for viewing. Staff wore no hair nets. Floors are nothing but concrete and ceiling is exposed. There was dust and cobwebs in the rafters. Place was not overly noisy and the tables were clean. Bathroom was visible from eating area. Atmosphere was confusing but the crape was tasty and the mocha was good.
