They are remodeling but everything is great priced and the lady up front was extremely friendly and helped us out with some frog figurines they had cause I bought the last two lol couldn’t leave without my pecans! Great place, great prices, clean and very friendly Completely recommend
Finally I found pralines I love! They had fresh pecans in so many forms. Fudge, syrup, candies, nougat, all the good stuff. Hot sauce, shirts trinkets as well. Nice owner friendly service, reasonable prices.
Beautiful place to buy a good things for friends, great customer service and btw I love it they bathroom decoration.
The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly - HOWEVER it’s SOOO frustrating to come in and have to literally wait and wait and wait because the new hires are left with minimal training and not provided with codes for the EBT machine. When the new cashier poor girl was on her first day alone couldn’t get the manager to answer or return a call, the lady working with her says, “well I don’t do EBT so I don’t know”. Very unprofessional first and foremost, but the cashier made ample attempts to contact both the manager and the assistant with no luck. I actually took a star off my rating because it got to a point where the cashier felt like she was going to have to send me away, which essentially would make me have to walk across a major highway in the rain because this is the only convenience store that is on my side of the highway AND I LIVE IN THE HOTEL WITH NO VEHICLE!!! Very, very frustrating considering I only have EBT to pay for my groceries.
Our family has been traveling back and forth from NY to FL on I95 for the past 45 years. Peach cider was discovered by one of our family members and fell in love with it. She usually gets several bottles for family and friends. This was our first visit to this location. Yes a typical southern style tourist store, clean with all sorts of touristy trinkets sorted packaged pecans and pecan products. Prices are typical. This is not why I gave a one star: Our family genealogy goes back to the discovery of the Americas. The one lady of two attending the store was very friendly and gracious, something you would expect from southern hospitality and its people. The other lady might as well be wearing her white gown and hood holding the confederate flag with a burning cross behind her. I have never experienced racism, I am an American as all my family members are and I am ashamed to be living in America amongst people of this sort. We believe in America and its people,we bought a case of peach cider because it tasted good, its an American product and we love Georgia peaches in spite that one could actually feel the racism coming from the other woman attending the store. WE WILL NEVER, EVER, GO BACK TO THAT STORE. BEWARE!!!!!
I stopped here to get gas on our way back to Carolina from Florida and decided to walk over to other side of store to purchase souvenirs and bought some pecans too, OMG when I got home and tasted them I was so mad I didn’t buy several more bags. I looked at my receipt and search on google for the store. If you ever decide to sell online I’ll be happy to buy.
This spot was an ok place for souvenirs and I probably would have given 5 stars but this very strange employee followed us around the entire time trying to remain inconspicuous and was cursing under his breathe and it took us a while to figure out why but when we did we left. He would see one of us pick something up to inspect it because it's a SOUVENIR store and then as we walked to another spot he would curse and go move everything around. Now I get he's doing his job but 1. we did not make a mess in the slightest 2. this employee did not need to swear especially because children were near by 3. he could have asked us to not touch the merchandise and we would have stopped. Just something to consider before you choose to spend your hard earned money here.
While driving through in route to Florida I decide to make a pitstop to see a friend. I came across this place. It’s not very appealing to the eye from the outside but the inside was clean and organized. I purchased a few bags of pecans and a shirt. If every in the area I would probably stop by again.
Nice stop for tourrist gifts from Florida and Georgia. Employee here has amazing hospitality. You can get anything from keychains and shirts to jelly and Taffy here. Wonderful shop in a convient location to get gifts for family or yourself.
Stay away from this place! My sons, 12 yo grandaughter & husband were in there tonight5/29/2016 shopping for souvenirs when the shorthaired african american cashier asked if my husband was 'lit'. He is 61yo, has heart problems and has had strokes. Her remarks were totally uncalled for and extremely rude! Do yourselves a favor and drive a little further to ANY other souvenir shop in Ga or Fl.
