Kahvi Hair Salon

I’ve lived in the area my whole life and passed by this salon many times. I’ve tried many over priced salons in Naperville and have been disappointed by their services. I also used to go to salons in downtown Chicago and pay $100+ for a basic trim and style and ended up disliking my cut. I tried out Kahvi Salon after a recommendation from a friend, and it is now the only place I go to get my hair cut. They have never let me down. I’ve never paid more than $40 for a wash, cut, and blowout here. Golin does a great job! This is my 3rd time getting my hair cut here, and her service is very consistent. Kahvi is an awesome salon! The owner Jennifer is my stylist and does a phenomenal job. She always makes extra time in her schedule if I need an appointment and she is booked, and the other employees are also very friendly and polite, highly recommended!

My appointment time was at 6.30. I waited till 7:05 before they started cutting my hair. The person who cut my hair couldn’t speak a single word of English. I showed her a picture for what size I want on the sides and the back, and how I want it in the front. She made it 2 size shorter than I intended. The tapering or fading off on the sides and the back isn’t smooth at all. The only reason I put 2 stars instead of 1 is because it's cheaper than some other places. I don’t think language barrier was the issue. I showed the picture and it meant nothing. That’s the issue. By the time she faced me to the mirror, damage to the side and the back was done. I won’t be going back.

I asked for a layered cut and walked out with the worst haircut I’ve gotten my entire life. Even my worst enemy wouldn’t do this to me. Seems like their hair stylists aren’t certified. I wouldn’t go here. Pay more and find a better salon.

I asked them to take care of my wife since it was a surprise for her working so hard and not getting a break during covid. They were amazing. Did everything I asked and more. The ladies there took extra special care of her and she came out like a movie star. I am so pleased with the level of service I received her I will be sending her back again and again. Please keep up the good work and don't change.

Always get my hair done by Jenny. She got my hair the exact color I wanted in 1 go VS name brand salon who were milking money outta me and doing only half my head. I have been trying to go light for only about 4 years, every 6 months and still hadn’t reached the color I wanted. Decided to go to a nearby salon instead of taking trips to these far away salons and boy did I make a great decision. Would take a star away only because it’s a little hard to get a hold of them but it’s fine just call back and they’ll be there, hopefully. Def recommend Jenny if you’re planning on going light with your hair, without killing your hair!

Coming from Chicago, don’t care for the drive! I love the service the I get from the girls and Jenny- very professional and great at there job! I come out 100% satisfied every time.

First time visiting, very pleased. Jennie was very professional and gave me exactly the haircut I wanted. The pricing was also very reasonable.
