Admin/Receptionist Angel called me to schedule an appointment and had so much attitude. I felt so uncomfortable. How do you call me, and be rude with me?! Her rudeness was so apparent that it took everything in me to not ask what her problem was. I have never spoke with this lady before. I eventually hung up because it was the weirdest first interaction I’ve ever had with a Kaiser staff. They definitely need more phone training. *Edit* I notice that someone else in the reviews below had already mentioned her name. What a coincidence to be given such horrible customer service from the same person! She needs to be trained for sure
Unfortunately the same office hours they have are the same hours me and my husband work. Received a letter that stated our referral had expired and had to reach out to the doctor for a new one. Did so and the next day called the ASD appointment center 3x and only reached their voice-mail. Left a voice-mail for someone to call me back several hours later to tell me they haven't received the referral yet and they would call me back next week. They reached me at work and the lady Angel was rude, her attitude was just sour. For parents who are new to navigating through this autism journey, her service was cold. Couldn't get an appointment for 5 months from now, I understand you probably deal with alot of frustrated parents as myself, but were just reaching out to do the best we can for our children ! Kaisers quality of service has dropped tremendously and I think it's time we switch providers. Angel if you don't like your job, or can't find joy in it I pray for you ! I hope you find one that puts you in a happier state, it reflects badly on the company you work for.
I never do this but please DO NOT see Dr. Gregory in the Women’s Health/OBGYN department here. I went in for abnormal bleeding she never once addressed my concern or primary reason for the visit. She spent the entire appointment towering over me berating me over my health I’m a new patient with 0 medical history info in my chart, BTW and never did any type of exam. When I tried to give her background info on my health she cut me off and made it clear that she was not interested in actually learning about my health. All she cared about was talking me into getting a procedure I didn’t need/want, getting an IUD that I didn’t want, and told me that I probably have cancer due to irregular periods. Needless to say, I left the appointment with the same concern/issue and had to purse further medical care to get it figured out. The medical assistant also had terrible bedside manner, was short, rude, and not welcoming or understanding at all. Terrible experience. Also, in the exam room they had a previous patient’s bloody urine sample sitting out on the counter which is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary.
Have been disabled for 30 yes with crps. My drs in bay area had me on a regiment that had me living my life again. Moved to sacramento, they made me go through opiod safety program leaving me in more pain. They released me from program and my dr took up the lesser prescription. Went to pick up prescriptions and pharmacy says now I must continue to reduce. Chronic pain/opioid reduction program is a lie and a fraud. Came here in April 2021 after being seen by specialist and a regular doctor for 10 yrs. Roseville drs have reduced my meds leaving me in pain without ever seeing or examining me in person . If you are a chronic pain patient kaiser sacramento is not the place for you. They are more worried about covering there butts than your quality of life.
They are wonderful food was good thanks
You would think the scheduling department for Austin’s would have some patience. You can turn a patient down without sass or attitude. I can understand scheduling issues due to insurance randomly stopping or changing counties but the lack of empathy while answering a simple question is sad. Please understand being in the medical field should not take away kindness and Etiquette on a phone call.
Cannot reach doctor, have strong hartburn, chest pain Had set two phone appointments per 03.13.2023. No body call me back. Drinking painkiller
Two stars for cost of care, 0 stars for patient treatment. Mom was a stroke patient for the last 12 of the 40+ years she had Kaiser. She had the same doctors for over 20 years, but they barely remembered her from one visit to the next. She broke her hip and they pinned it instead of replacing it as they had done to the other side. She never walked well again and the bone grew around the pin making her permanently wheelchair bound. They could not see her physical or mental decline the last two years and fought me at every step when I demanded they sign the orders for hospice care. When she died, they didn't even acknowledge it, and I had to cancel several appointments as Kaiser continued to call me with reminders. Out if the many people I spoke with on the phone, none had the decency to say "sorry for your loss". Terrible.
I have a prescription question and the receptionist hung up on me two times in a row after I just said "hello, I had a question-". It was a real person, who was saying "Kaiser Permenente how may I help you?" The second time I said "Hello, I think you accidentally hung up the first time but-" then they hung up. They must think I'm a prank call and I don't understand why
I like my Dr. but am extremely disappointed in what has become of the lab. The last 3 times I've had bloodwork completed there, I have noticed that the vibe in the lab has become extremely awkward. Also, I was injured the last time they drew blood. I will start getting my blood drawn at a different facility. I absolutely cannot stand awkward experiences.
