One star for having flu and Pfizer Covid vaccines. The lines for receiving them are atrocious. Wishing I parked and was on foot. Maybe, just maybe it wouldn’t have taken so long. And there always have to be those people who think they are more important than others, who cut thru the parking spaces in the line to get in front of others who arrived prior.
I damn near cut my finger off and was treated at SSF Kaiser Emergency room on the evening of 9/18/23. I was very worked up emotionally and was treated by a wonderful staff Dr Christopher Evans DO and a nurse who wore pink scrubs I don't know her name were amazing and showed me so much compassion and empathy. They whole staff I found to be outstanding! Thank you all!
Seemingly good hospital. Can't comment on the outcome of my brother's surgery yet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved Paul, the proprietor of Cafe Trip in the hospital. Comfortable waiting room.
Abner helped me today! He was kind, pleasant and efficient. I had to refill my mom’s medication and explained that the doctor increase her dosage. Abner listened to my concerns and add the necessary notes to refill my moms medication. When the medication was ready he even took the time to sell it to me. excellent service
Super busy during the mid-day hours. Go early or late afternoon and you'll get through the lab pretty quickly. This is a one stop shop and a great app to use with this facility. Nurses are really nice.
RACIST!! RACIST!!! RACIST!!!! Kaiser Permanente at South San Francisco main lobby security @12pm 8/4/23. Heard my mom say a spanish name in our native tongue and laughed at my mother and said they didn’t speak spanish. This is disgusting, my mom was visiting a dying family member and was met with the most rude remarks. Kaiser, you have this intolerance under your roof? That can laugh at people in the face for speaking and have a native tongue accent? This is disgusting. Such a dehumanizing experience. Your staff needs to be repremanded & trained properly on tolerance. For anyone reading this, if you work at Kaiser SSF, please do what’s right and spread the word about your security members. If this was your mother you would want someone to do the same. I have posted this over facebook, i hope your staff gets spoken to. This is unacceptable.
I’m writing a 5 star review specifically for the Kaiser SSF emergency department. Last night I had to present to ED for a bad headache and received the best care from Dr. Darius Fewlass and his RN Amanda I’m sure this is her name. They took care of me from checking in to checking out and really made me felt at ease the whole time! It was like conversing with friends. I get nervous and panic very easily! But the two of them made me forget I was a patient in the ED. Their positivity with a smile I can sense through their mask and professionalism deserve recognition! Thank you for your help during a challenging time!
Got the 1st covid vaccine Moderna. You have to email KP first, they will reply and give you the day that you can choose for appt. On the day, you drive , they will give paper to fill and park your car. Then you have to go to the tent, got shot, make 2nd appt for the next 28 days moderna and sit there for 15 min or more, to see how your body will react to it.
My 7 year old daughter had a fractured big toe and required surgery to correct the issue. I had a pre-op appointment with Dr. Mohammed Moharrami who explained he will operate and put a plate in her toe heartbreaking for me to her this. But then he told me....first....he will try to manipulate the bone and see if he is able to put it back in place, w/o any type of incision. I was so grateful to hear that option....and after surgery he told me that was exactly what he did! No incision and no plates needed for my baby. I am so grateful to Dr. Moharrami, the entire SSF OR Team, and the Anesthesia team. They were outstanding and treated my daughter w/extra special care! I knew from the start she was in excellent hands. Kudos to all of them! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I recently had a doctors visit for an injury I had at work. The assistant/ coordinator was a Danielle Garcia whom was very unprofessional and disrespectful towards myself and my wife. This was our first time coming here and we were referred by my doctor at Kaiser. We did not know what the process would be and when my wife asked if she was able to accompany me she snapped at my wife and said no and then once I was in the office she snapped at my wife when asked where we should go to follow up on another medical issue. This is not what I had expected from a professional doctors office whom is supposed to hire people who are empathetic and patient. What a disappointment
