As a resident of Lincoln California, I appreciate having this Kaiser medical facility in our city. The pharmacy is convenient for me to pick up my prescriptions. They have a great Optometry department here as well. Also a very convenient location for our annual flu shots. They have a lab here and I’ve used it many times. I’ve also use the physical therapy department here. They have some of the best physical therapists around.
This pharmacy used to be really good. Doctor called in my prescription on a Friday, went that day to pick it up, there were probably 60 plus people in line so I left. Went Monday, same thing. Went back first thing Tuesday morning only ten people in the pick up line, perfect, except my prescription wasn't filled. Ok, I waited the thirty minutes until it was filled and my name appeared on the screen. In the past they would call you up once the prescription was filled. Went to the check in line to ask if I was going to get called up and was told to get back in the pick up line which now had twenty plus people in line. This guy was helping no one and they only had one person taking care of the pickup line who was doing a really good job. So, I left without my prescription. Terrible experience, poorly managed and poorly staffed.
My Doctors at Kaiser Lincoln continue to make it unnecessarily difficult to get a referral. I have spent way too much time and effort trying to get a Dermatology referral. My email exchanges with these “Doctors” reads like I am attempting to take money directly from their pockets by requesting a referral. The last message I received was asking me to make yet another PCP appointment so they can “get high-quality Stentor photos with dermoscopy.” Really? The soonest I can get another appointment with a provider is in 3 weeks which will delay this issue even more. This is extremely inefficient and frustrating. Why not just allow me to go to the Dermatologist where I can get a specialist to deal with this issue. 2 Week Update: After another visit with my PCP they finally referred me to a Dermatologist. I called Dermatology and they said the soonest appointment would be in two months for my “Non-Urgent” issue. I told her that was unacceptable. After an unnecessary negotiation process, I was able to see a Dermatologist sooner at another location. Bottom line is I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Unbelievable.
Poor communication. Bad delivery of information. Health care is horrible. But they sure are extremely proficient at billing you. Lincoln kiser is the worst. Getting ready to change healthcare provider.
The Gentleman working behind the pharmacy counter is not only extremely courteous but very helpful and efficient. Today is the end of the month and end of most people are irritated and pushy. He remains consistent. I appreciate his presence here
Can’t say enough good things about Kaiser and the lincoln office. Had to get some labs done, emailed my doctor to add on a lab test which he was able to do at the last minute. Lab experience was great. Melissa was super helpful as was Ms. Patel. Was in and out in no time in the morning. Glad KP has quality staff that were very helpful. Definitely recommend.
Kaiser Permanente has always offered top notch care, easy appointments, and a great app with online tools. Lincoln office is no exception, great people & great service.
I’ll like being able to get there nap fast from Sun City.
These guys are terrible, Lincoln place closes at 5:00 pm and close on the weekend. I was told to go to the Roseville hospital, since they were closing. Where they charge you for emergency service. My doctor sucks, these guys are in hurry, to get you out. If you are in pain, don’t ask for pain medication, because they accuse you of abusing drugs and will want to do a drug test before they can give you anything and the doctor never called to let me know if the test was negative or positive. The medication I got was not helping, but they don’t care. They will send you to physical therapy in about 6-10 days, don’t worry about the pain you been having. I knew that my test would show up positive, since I had some pain medication from 2014, which I had taken and I still have the bottle. I was told that the government requires drug test before they give you anything. Wouldn’t it make since to give medication for at least two days and wait for test results and ask questions if positive. So if your leg is cutoff off, they will drug test you before giving you anything. I would not recommend this place at all
Doctors always running late . Unwelcome attitude by assistants. Thanks for your response Kevin, But don't get me wrong, doctors provide an amazing service.
