So this isn't necessarily based on care, I expect long waits in the ED. But I do expect it to be fairly clean and free of bugs. I had 2 of these get on me while sitting in the waiting room. Finally I just stood the rest of the time. This looks to be a roach in the Lymph stage of growing
The parking is a nightmare, valet service refused to park our ford truck because it was to big. My son was instructed to go to the ER straight from school, we had little warning or options. The wait time was unacceptable for a child who was having trouble breathing, the “security” sit in their booth talking amongst themselves and bellow to patients to “pull up their masks or stand right there” not even bothering to leave their booth. The place is not disinfected, small and cramped with patients with no other options but to wait hours for care. Honestly this place has gone downhill. Patient care is not #1. Worst ER experience in the past 10.
Pathetic place I’m so angry with this Kaiser place, we are coming here from last 3 days regularly, every single time I waited more than 3hours, I was not mad at first because so many people waiting in the waiting area, But people who came after us they were going first in and when I asked the Nurse bout this, she said you’re second in a line and again 2 other patients went inside before us. I mean please do something about the wait time. No management, no one listens to the patient I mean we understand the protocols but when some one cannot even stand please start show respect to those patients.
Truly compassionate, timely care. Brittany D, RN and Dr Staines went above and beyond to ensure my friend was comfortable and well taken care of. We are super lucky that they took us in so quickly and she was able to receive relief within an hour. Great job.
The doctor and nurse were good, so its not about them. With an empty waiting room how did I have to wait hours for an ultrasound? A beg for water 3 times over hours and noone would give me water... Blood on the floors and curtains... they ignored and walked right past a man that was in serious distress or heart attack. He was red and dripping with sweat and collapsing. Very disorganized and despite waiting for hours the staff stands around and chats.
They were very responsive when I went in the evening on a weekend. The staff checked up on me timely, and they recommended a course of action that ultimately made my existing possible. I am thankful for their decisions and competent staff. Have a friend/uber/ambulance drop you off. Street parking was a little iffy.
Er is full of non emergencies. Not 1 person waiting was wailing, crying or suffering. Except for my daughter. They don't prioritize patients here it seems. My daughter showed signs of appendicitis and she waited for care.
Worst place to be at anytime, most of the parking is reserved all the street parking requires permits, you gotta drive in circles forever to get a parking spot. This place is as horrible as it gets, emergency room is always packed and cluttered. What a nightmare this place is every day. Even the new parking garage is full during the day. So much construction going on but no work done. Kaiser south use to be a good place to go but now it's just like a horrible movie scene.
I've been here for almost an hour and I had a full on meltdown cause of how much my pain's been and no one called my name. The wait is a nightmare and a lot of people are here just waiting to be called, like it feels like we've been here for days and this pain surely isn't going away anytime soon. Please, for the love of any God from any religion, PLEASE IMPROVE ON THIS
Waited for 7 hours and could not be attended. Ridiculous! People after me going before me and didn’t once called my name. All they said was you’re next next in line but have other people that got here after me go first.
