Excellent selection of charcouterie, pre-marinated grill meats, pickles, juices, jams and sour creams from or in the style of Central/Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union.  Popped in before a road trip up 101, stocked up on lavash bread, beef-pork mortadella, pickles, grilled pepper spread ajvar, and Olivyeh salad. Best car picnic ever.  Beef piroshki deep fried to a donut consistency, another novelty.

I ve been a loyal and happy customer for over 15 years : compared to sub standard Russian stores on Santa Monica blvd  except perhaps Odessa Karabakh provides much better quality products-  especially bread, pastries and certain meat products such as Kupati , marinated meats,  quail , veal . And I haven’t had problems with the service either!  To all those bitter haters here who attacked Karabakh out of spite with your petty complaints : either your reviews are typical spam placed by competitors or you are very miserable and malicious losers who need to see a psychotherapist and don’t deserve to shop at this place - go eat at McDonalds !

Grocery store with vast choice of Russian style food. Overpriced goods but they serve you in USSR style, so if you are missing Soviet times you are more than welcome.

Cute place , delicious food and  a really big assortment,not really friendly service: But the place is good :

Pre-marinated chicken breast kebabs were only ok. Needed much more flavor. Pork was better salted, but still not great.  Maybe I got two bad batches?

I go here for their cream cheese filled pastries. They are AMAZING!!!!  I have to be careful because I can easily eat 6 in a day!! The staff is very nice. They have great deli meats as well. Karabaugh is a wonderful market full of delicious Russian specialties. Enjoy!! :

Good place for marinated meat, bread, and pastries. People are much nicer and welcoming here.

I am a long time customer in this business, even before owners changed. I always with my respectful attitude doing my grocery shopping with this place. BUT, THERE ARE SOME EMPLOYEES WITH THEIR RUDE ATTITUDE  PUSHING YOU A WAY FROM THIS BUSNESS. ANAHIT, WITH HER UGLY, RUDE ATTITUDE   HERASING  MY NICI NES.

This place gets 0. Overpriced, rude aggressive service, and nasty looks from the meat counter men. The store has outdated and dirty looking products, and you feel like you are a bother to them.  I own a businesses and would never treat a customer like this. If the business owner or manager would like to help resolve my concerns they can reach me. Please do not give your money to this store, as it feels they don’t care about your business.
