R. Paul Kare, M.D., graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
In 2000, Dr. Kare began his private family medical practice as a Baylor Health Care affiliate in Waxahachie, Texas. In 2002 Dr. Kare opened Millennium Laser and Aesthetics.
Dr. Kare is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a current member of the Ellis County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kare since 2004. He is a great doctor. Who really listens to your medical issues. He and his staff are wonderful. You are not just a number on a chart at Kare Family Clinic.
Waited 30 minutes before my mom's appointment to cancel it after a month of waiting.
Dr. Kare and his staff have been wonderful! I started using the Kare Clinic in January. Dr. Kare takes the time needed to listen to my concerns and diagnosed my issues. The staff has always been very polite and taken care of my calls in a prompt response time.
Dr. Kare and his staff are EXCELLENT!!!! They actually care about the patients instead of just running you through like a revolving door. I see some complaints about wait time, but as far as I'm concerned, I will gladly wait as long as it takes. I understand that each patient is different with different issues and Dr. Kare takes his time to thoroughly diagnose and explain each step that will be taken to remedy your situation. That type of personal attention is very rare nowadays and I for one appreciate it. Naturally there will be a longer wait for such thoroughness. In my opinion, if you are one of those that think that waiting for that is somehow a bad thing, then maybe you should schedule with a cookie cutter doctor who will herd you in and out like cattle.
Very very very unprofessional, it took me days and days to get a staff member to call me back, it also took me leaving 7 to ten voice messages they basically took down his information said they would accept it, basically talked to me about my family member, and then did a rundown on background, I told them the truth that my great-grandmother was bipolar, that my other family just had severe, depression but never got to see the doctor, basically was evaluated by a staff so-called, was promised a appointment, she called back finally and said no that he needed to see someone else, because of the family history, and, I highly suggest seeking out
Horrible place, The wait times are hours after the schedule appointment times. The dr does not listen to the patient and try’s to push un-wanted medication just an all around bad primary care provider.
They never answer their phones and mistaked bronchitis for regular allergies! I've spent a lot of money on them not diagnosing me correctly and the wait time is outrageous! Got an 8 o'clock appointment? Too bad! You're going to sit in that waiting room for an hour! Then another 30 to 40 minutes in the actual patient room waiting for him to come by!
I am an insurance agent ordering records for our mutual client- it has been over a month when the law says they must comply within 15 business days- Their staff is rude- hardly answer the phones and basically could care less about doing their job---- this is a HORRIBLE way to do business and their laziness is financially injuring my client. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners #17-8473 Against Dr R Paul Kare MD for failure to provide records in a timely fashion.
Dr. Kare and his staff are incredibly professional. They listened to my concerns and answered my questions with care and respect. They are taking precautions for the pandemic and make you feel safe when visiting the office.
I've used dr Kare, John & staff for almost 20 yrs & highly recomend the Kare clinic. They're always on top of my care needs.
