Falafel fries & the vegetarian sampler are usually our go-tos. Last time the fries were soggy right away when we picked them up, but usually they’re on point. Love that they’ve had vegetarian options for so long.Food: 4/5
I've been on a falafel kick and brookhurst st is the place to be for good Mediterranean food! I thought I had found a favorite but I was wrong. Kareem's is the best falafel I've had in the area. And this is for falafel and falafel only! Everything is pretty good but I do like the sauces somewhere else. But falafel wise... This is number one hands down. Super vegan friendly, they even have vegan baklava. The prices seem higher compared to other in the area but trust me it's more food and add ONS like avacado and hummus are inclined. All dishes also come with a pita which Is usually separate at others. Recommended!! Vegetarian options: Multiple vegan options, clearly marked on the menu
Amazing food! Visited based on the reviews. The place didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, truly exceptional customer service. We felt really welcomed. The food is delicious, fresh & arranged in a beautiful way on the plates. Great prices for the portion size. Highly recommended! We will be back for sure! Kid-friendliness: High chairs Parking: Plenty of parking middle of the day
Magical. Amazing. The people here are full of life and happy. The food can't be beat. Just try the pita chips with some hummus. They just dropped 'anotha one' at South Coast. Go get some flavor in your life. Vegetarian options: They have a menu dedicated to vegetarian and vegan, and guess what...it's not bland!
Amazing food. We ate outside as it was a nice day. Be sure to try the baklava!Food: 5/5
Really enjoyed the food here. The pricing for items may seem expensive at first but when you see the portions you totally understand why and will then consider it amazing value. Portions lasted me almost 3 portions worth of meals and the ingredients and flavors are top tier. We got the chicken plate and chicken platter along with falfel to go and they were all great choices. The hummus and pita and the garlic sauce were all great and fresh tasting. We ordered to go and enjoyed it at home. They did have both indoor and outdoor seating and they have monthly specials as well. We'll be coming back here again!
Always gotta visit this place when I’m in Anaheim. It’s a staple for Palestinian breakfast. The falafel is a must try. The fatteh is 10/10 just know that it’s filling. Everything is great so go and try and different items
We stopped by this little restaurant to try some local Mediterranean food while we were visiting Disneyland shops. I was shocked by how good this was. Delicious! Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Kids safe
The older, cherubic Palestinian woman at the cash register is a tad rough around the edges but don't take it personally; she's running a tight ship. Give her some time and you'll find she has the kindest heart. I have eaten at about 150 different Mediterranean style eateries across the USA, and Kareem's is my all-time favorite. It's literally like going to Palestinian grandma's home kitchen and getting that home-cooked meal. When I go with my family of three, we always get one steak plate, one chicken plate, and one felafel plate, and we share. What makes this place SO SPECIAL to us is that the pickled vegetables are so tasty and crispy; never canned. The pita bread taste FRESH BAKED. And the BABAGANOUSH is the greatest of all time with the requisite tasty freshness and wonderful smoky flavor; the best eggplant dish I have ever tried, and that is my MAIN attraction at Kareem's. Go there NOW. You will not be disappointed and you'll likely not go to another Mediterranean restaurant because it will pale in comparison to Kareem's.
Went there last week and didn't disappoint! The food and service were amazing Food: 5/5
