Kasumi Japanese Grill

Lovely little spot right by I-40 and Campbell Station. It's a little bit tucked away and easy to miss, but we were so glad we came by. They serve a mix of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese style dishes at great prices. Usually I'm a bit wary of the restaurants that serve such a wide mix of everything but I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Awesome variety of flavors; ingredients seemed fresh and portions were ample. Service was wonderful. Did I mention they have great prices on everything? I'll definitely be back!

I've always enjoyed Asian food, although Thai food has not been a regular for me. In traveling, I have more "choice" but wanted to stay close to my hotel. This place was close, recommended, and I found out - wonderful. By far the most upbeat and interactive staff I have ever met. All smiles! But the food also met expectations Thai rolls and Thai fried rice. It was perfect - filling, tasty, perfect spice mix, authentic as far as I could tell. EAT HERE! Its not only a good change of pace, but just a great place to be. I will be back!!

My Family and I have been eating here since shortly after opening. The staff are always very friendly, and the food is consistently very good. My Dad carries hand sanitizer with him he is a doctor and often left it on the table. The Kind staff at Kasumi kept them for us, and returned about four of them as we were about to leave one day. Our favorite menu items include the Kasumi Chicken and Sirloin, the Red Curry, Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai. Try the Hot and Sour soup as well.

This restaurant is located right off of the interstate exit. We chose to stop here because this restaurant serves Japanese and Thai cuisine. It was delicious! I got Japanese Hibachi Chicken, and my boyfriend got something Thai. We both loved the food and the service was excellent. This will definitely be a place we eat on our next trip to Knoxville.

The owner was very kind and generous, and gave us an entire sushi roll for free just to try! The waitress was friendly & talkative as well. The food was delicious. We had one Thai dish and one Japanese dish, both equally as good!

One older waitress was very nice. Food mediocre to bad, expensive. Mushy overcooked veggies and 5 shrimp on habachi plate. Served cold. Asked younger gal for side of sauce she sat and flirted with another customer and didnt move to bring it, ever. Salty but no other flavor. Gross, poor service. Please spare yourself and try anywhere else

Original Zomato Review 9/19/15 - My wife became friends with the owner some years ago and we've eaten here a lot. There are so many good things to eat here - my favorite is the Panko Chicken. It was so good, I learned how to prepare it at home. She also serves a cucumber salad which is also very good. Highly recommend.

WONDERFUL! It was busy and they were understaffed, but handling it like champs. The food we ordered came out quickly. It all tasted PHENOMENAL. Everything was fresh, delicious, and tasted absolutely incredible. We're only in town for the weekend, so we are hoping to stop in again!

Since selling the place to new owners including the menu and name, this place went from a 5star restaurant to a mediocre 1/5 ,food was terrible. I've ate at the original kasumi over a hundred times and never once got something bad. Got food from them on take out and got home and I was amazed how the food was different, hell if I knew they changed everything about it I would of never came back. Just wandering what happened for them to sell everything off and the next owner pretends it's the same restaurant? Don't go here!

Love the sushi here! So fresh! We've also had hibachi chicken, General Tso chicken, chicken fried rice, egg drop soup, miso soup, crab rangoons, and egg rolls. Always fresh and delicious. It's one of our favorite restaurants to visit when shopping at Turkey Creek.
