I am self taught at crochet and knitting, and enjoy watching piles of yarn turn into pretty things. For me working with yarn and either a crochet hook or knitting needles is very relaxing, and I love to make things that people can use--I try to make things that are creative, and unique in their own way---sometimes I follow a pattern, but more often than not I will combine patterns with each other, or even make up my own variations from the basic design. My hope is to make things that cannot be purchased from an ordinary retail store. When I create an item, I think about who will be wearing or using it, and I hope that they enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it. i have some items on hand usually, and I don't mind custom orders, especially as far as color.
