If like me, you’ve ever been underwhelmed by the Celtic cuisine on McLean Ave, you’ll soon be saying “Irish I’d gone to Katie’s Cottage”. Their perfectly cooked fish n chips is rivaled only by their - I’ll call them “Fresh” fries. My friends loved their burger. For appetizers, I recommend wings. Scrumptious scones and bread for every table. I will be returning for what I bet is the best Irish breakfast in town.

I recently visited this delightful Irish pub with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic time! We decided to go for the classic fish and chips, and it truly felt like we were back home in Ireland. The fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were just the right amount of salty and crunchy. We washed it all down with some refreshing pints of Irish beer. The ambience of the pub was truly something special. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our visit. All in all, our group had an amazing time at Katie’s Cottage, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Irish experience. We'll definitely be back soon!
I had the pleasure of visiting this charming Irish pub last night with my husband, and we were blown away by the fantastic food and atmosphere. I ordered the French onion soup, and it was absolutely divine – the perfect blend of savory flavors and rich, cheesy goodness. My husband opted for the steak sandwich, and it did not disappoint – the meat was tender and juicy, and the bread was perfectly toasted. To top it all off, he paired it with a refreshing pint of Guinness beer, which was expertly poured and tasted amazing. The ambiance of the pub was cozy and inviting, with traditional Irish decor and warm lighting that made us feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. All in all, we had a wonderful experience at this Katie’s and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun night out. We will definitely be back!

Had really high hopes going here after reading all of the wonderful reviews. I made my server aware of a food allergy I have and was told they could accommodate. I ordered the irish breakfast and asked that everything be cooked in butter as im allergic to most commonly used oils. Upon receiving my food the black and white pudding and sausage has been very obviously deep fried. The only thing I could eat was the bacon and eggs which were sopping wet in grease. I should have been made aware of the meal I ordered containing deep fried items. The menu does not tell you how anything is cooked and I'm most used to black and white pudding being grilled so I did not think to ask. But after making my allergy known my server should of mentioned something so important.
We had such a lovely meal at this restaurant last night! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are all so wonderful and friendly. I will most definitely be back soon!

Katie's cottage is a very delightful place with great service and good food. Try the French onion with homemade bread and top it off with a properly poured Guinness.
