Waited weeks for an appointment. Was called a couple hours before to reschedule. The receptionist LAUGHINGLY told me that the Dentist didn't FEEL like staying the rest of the day, so it would be another 2 weeks since I couldn't drop everything on my schedule and run in on there whim. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
my Favorite is Dr. G! She is stern and no B.S. She has that caring touch when needed. The staff is over worked but if you can get in dont be late or blow off appointments. KATSUR SS is the BEST!
I have a mixed review…. When originally started going here back in 2014ish I had no real complaints other than the rundown waiting area. They helped immediately fix a fractured molar and I continually went back for cleanings every 6 months that were super fast. Fast forward to 2019 to present - I understand the healthcare work field has taken a huge hit with help. After missing an appointment in 2020 for a cleaning due to the shut down due to the pandemic - I didn’t try to make a new appointment until September 2021. When I did - I was told they didn’t have a hygienist but still made an appointment to be checked up on since I hadn’t had x-rays in like 3 years. I changed my mind and a week before I called every day and no one picked up - I finally left a voicemail cancelling - but never got any confirmation if it was actually cancelled. 3 days ago I called the emergency line because I broke a tooth and the answering service took my information and told me the on-call dentist would return my call shortly. It’s been 3 days. I ended up going to see a family friend to have my tooth fixed. I hope this office can get on their feet, but I would be cautious right now when trying to make an appointment - I won’t be continuing seeking dental treatments here moving forward. *UPDATE* here’s the funny thing. It’s been almost 2 months am no call back but plenty of “positive” reviews contradicting what I’ve stated in my very honest review that a posted.
The workers were very nice and friendly. Helpful in all ways. Very Courteous and kind. Very nice and clean office. Crystal came to assist me and was very nice and welcome me to the office explaining everything she did.. My Dr.M. was very attentive and helpful and sweet! I love my first visit and felt very welcome and at ease!!! Thank You all very very much . My Dr. took time with me and explained everything!!!!!! Would recommend Dentist office!!!!!!!
Can't be bothered to return phone calls leads to worse outcomes for patients. Not very professional. Answering service only handles FLA. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Still trying to get my Rx after 10 days and 3 calls. Next call to State Dental Board to file a complaint.
Unbelievable. They advertise emergency walk ins welcome and that they open at 8:30 on Thursdays. Not only is it 8:40 and the door isn’t open, but I came early to do a walk in procedure, ended up having to call them since they still haven’t opened and told they no longer take walk ins. Next appointment was 6 days out for emergency visit. Lady on the phone sounded like she couldn’t care less.
Wait 6 months for an cleaning appt, only for them to tell me my appointment is actually an exam, to get on a list to be cleaned? Last time I was there I had an exam , only use this place for emergencies.
I tried another dental practice big mistake. I like the attention that is given to you. They explain everything to you The doctors and technicians are wonderful I won’t be leaving them again.
I highly don’t recommend them. I love my doctor but the entire staff needs to get fired. The dental assistant doesn’t know how to do fillings, currently stilll can’t bite down on my right side. front desk has no organization, how do you have 5 people up front with no common sense. The people they used to schedule patients appointment don’t call back, there was a point in time I was going to drive to the office just to schedule an appointment. After waiting 3 weeks to finally get scheduled to fix my filling they cancelled on me without rescheduling me, extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. So I’m done with them. I really hope my doctor gets some management in there so the office runs smoothly.
I’ve been a patient here for at least 5-6 years now. Although scheduling an appointment can be frustrating. I’ve accepted it because I trust them with my dental health. This location has plenty of parking so no meters to pay or parking garages to spend money on. I’ve always been seen quickly when I arrive. The office has been renovated and I like that as well. Dr. Nadarian probably butchered the spelling is personable and knows her stuff. Crystal is also very helpful and accommodating. I’ve heard many stories about dental nightmares from family and friends from other dentist offices. I will continue to be a happy patient at Katsur Dental South Side. Thanks!!
