Description

Katy Lake RV Resort is a full service RV resort. It is Big Rig friendly with spacious concrete pull through sites. It offers nightly, weekly and monthly sites rentals as well as fully furnished park model rentals.
Katy Lake RV Resort provides it's guests with many incredible amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. WiFi, cable, activity center, beach entry pool, spa, gas barbecue grills, fire pit, ice machines, 2 indoor TV viewing areas, 1 outdoor TV viewing area, 105 foot lighted fishing pier, stocked lake (catch and release), beautiful lighted water fountain, showers, laundry, computer room, exercise room, walking/jogging trail around the lake, dog run, dog wash/dry station, vending, and more.
The resort is adult oriented and offers a designated section of the park for families with children below school age. School age children are welcome to visit on a short term basis. Please ask guest services for details.
Pets are permitted, but there is a restriction. No pit breeds or any aggressive dogs.

Having traveled across the country and stayed at countless RV parks this is the first time I've been told I'd have to pay for a reservation needed in a week from the date I put in the reservation. I'd had reservations about contacting them because of their location, but since it was close to my office and family, I went for it and got on the wait list. Today I receive a call telling me I'd need to pay the full rate for the site if I were still interested because they have too many people calling to rent today.There are too many other nice choices in the area to choose from. I don't mind paying a deposit to hold a spot, but I believe it's unreasonable to tell a potential guest they need to pay full rate for a site that can't be used. I'm glad they have so many calls for long term stays. I won't be one of them again.
Never have I paid "trip insurance " at an rv park. Rather than charge a cancelation fee as some parks do this park offers to add an additional fee in case you need to change or cancel your reservation.
I’ve been here for several years now, first in a travel trailer now a 5th wheel. This is definitely home to me. The pool & Spa are closed on mondays for cleaning but they are both always super nice and clean. Tons of seating outside as well. The activity center has grills, TV’s, games, showers, etc. all of which is amazing. The showers are nicely spaced so you’re not crunched in and always clean. Laundry room is also clean. The spots are nicely sized and they mow on Wednesdays, the neighbors are always super nice whether you’re staying a day, week, or years. The lake is very pretty also. There’s also a goose that has been named by residents as “Lucky” and he is super friendly and comes around everyday. He’s been here for years also I guess he’s pictured . The office staff is super friendly and helpful with literally everything. Location is everything and it’s in the best spot honestly, nice and hidden from the main road but still a 1 min if that drive to fry road. Overall I recommend this park a lot. If you’ve read this far… we’ll thank ya! Lol. If you’re thinking of anywhere else… don’t..
Staff was very helpful. Good location to I 10. Good hook-ups. Would have given a 5 but spaces a little tight, close to neighbors.
Beautiful well kept park-next time we come this way will definitely plan on at least a week so as to enjoy the lake and the pool!
Loved the taco truck that came every week. Nice and secure as well as clean and quiet. The issues I have is that the pool is not heated, the exercise area was not what I expected, would have liked to have a workout bench. Loved that the resort is close to everything. Very friendly staff.
This RV park is so nice. It was quiet and peaceful. The shower was great with lots of room and lots of water power, plus very clean. The fishing pond was simple, nice, and there’s a relaxing view of it from above. The dogs loved walking around it. Some RVs were under covered ports too! Full hook-ups, flat , and very clean. It has a small , but simple work-out place in the building where the cafe is. They have some vending machines, for drinks and snacks. The pool is very clean and welcoming. This place is great ! The WIFI didn’t work for us, so we didn’t use it. I would kindly suggest that they make it better, because lots of people homeschool their kids and do business on the road. The only unexpected event was the rain. It rained very hard with rocking winds. But it’s Mother Nature. The staff were very nice on the phone and helpful. We will stay here again when passing through again.
We were never told of their no refund policy. No"insurance" for cancelling. Yet with 48 hours they were eager to cancel our reservation and rent the space to someone else. This sounds illegal. I will never do business with them again.
Real nice place to stay overnight, had a casino with great food, but not lucky at the slots.
I Just moved in on Saturday April 2 2022 I will update this review in 1 month than 6 months. I am a Full time RVr. Frist lets start with the positives. Wonderful! Very Clean resort with super friendly easy going staff. Everyone's rig looks nice and well kept! Love the path around the lake its nice to walk the dog or go for a stroll. The pool is beautiful with a beach style walk in. Plenty of meeting spaces and outdoor grills. I have just one major complaint however ..The internet is a complete joke. They have a free option that is only good for email maybe. The other option is paid but you can only use two devices at a time! This is a post "you know what" world we live in. Many people work from home now, RVS are getting smarter, and smart home devices are becoming more common. Bottom line ..this park is wonderful and friendly and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the Katy area for a competitive rates. Just beware the Internet stinks. It has been a month since move in. Still love it here nice a quiet. This park has a very good team behind it. It is always clean, in working order, and things are fixed quickly. I do hope however something is done about the grass burrs. They are quite abundant! The poor dogs and humans are struggling walking on the grass around the RVs and lake!
